We were very happy with our stay. Hotel staff were very friendly and they let us check into our room early which was nice since we were there for a wedding. The rooms were very clean and were quiet. I would recommend asking for a room that faces the back of the hotel, since it is a much prettier view...

We used the Mayville Inn as a get together place for a family reunion we rented about 10 rooms there. Our host Jim was very accommodating and friendly he also takes care of the small bar there a few nights we kept him up pretty late and he allowed us to have our fun. The rooms were very comfortable nice...

This is our third trip to Horicon and we have stayed at the Mayville Inn each time. As I have noted in a previous review, it's like staying with family with better towels. The whole facility is so clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's conveniently located close to the highway and the road to the marsh.

A typical, well-kept small town motel with a friendly staff and a room that was comfortable. Very few frills and this place was a step above economy, but far less that luxury. No swimming pool and an air conditioning unit that rattled and was annoying. However, the night clerk did get it fixed promptly. The price was reasonable, but certainly...

I'm not generally a fan of small Inns or Motels but this place definitely impressed me. We're used to 3-4 star hotels and this place is right on par with them without being a big chain. It's very clean from the lobby to the rooms, the beds were comfortable, the staff extremely friendly. They even offer a small, limited pastry...

This is the second time we have stayed at the Mayville Inn. It is a quiet, nice, friendly small hotel. The rooms are spacious, well lit with adequate electrical outlets. Everything was clean....Shower spray could have been better. Internet worked fine. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. There is a lovely sun room for relaxing.

We stayed here while in town for the Horicon Marsh Birding Adventure. Upon check in, we were greeted very warmly by Jane, the owner and were given an entire folder filled with information regarding the marsh, nearby cheese and candy shops and anything else you like to do in Dodge County. After doing some touring by car, we returned to...

Awww, thanks. Having guests enjoy our Inn and the area is what it is all about. We truly appreciate hearing your comments, and keep alert as to what is happening in the area to make your experience all that it can be.....and a GOOD dirty martini doesn't hurt either. The Folks at the Mayville are very friendly and gracious. The rooms are spacious but the beds are pretty hard. We thought we were booking a king room and when we got there we were told there wasn't one. The owner did tell us we could also use the hide-a-bed. It was not comfortable at all. The owner did say...

Certainly better than your average small-town motel. Home-made cookies welcomed us on arrival; although breakfast was basic. There's no pool or exercise room, but there is a lovely room at the back which has books, games, and windows for bird watching. Our room was large and clean, with a mini-sink next to the refrigerator. We would stay here again.

The Mayville Inn is a bit of a throw back. It still has a lot of the 70s in it from when it was built, but the hotel has been updated as needed and it offers a good nights stay for a good price. The rooms are relatively large. We had a comfortable bed with a small flat screen TV....
