I won't stay anywhere else in Milwaukee. The first time I stayed at The Plaza I thought, "Stairs! Why are there stairs, why isn't there an elevator, why is there a window AC unit, where is my plush everything, what's going on?!" Then I realized it was everything I need. I like using the stairs (always working on 10,000/day). I...

Homey feeling, relaxing atmosphere. Our first floor rooms were clean but we felt holes and movement in the floors under the carpeting. My mattress was very hard. Restaurant Was slow but good, our order was mixed up but we were compef for that.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean with good quality linens, sufficient lighting, and enough kitchen supplies to make a small meal for two. The bathroom is outdated but matches the décor and I didn't mind a bit. That's why I chose this hotel. It's a bit like taking a trip to the past but in a good way....

My room (180) was very dated, especially the bathroom. Poor lighting, no shelving, tiny. Had to use toilet seat (lid down) as my shelf. Dingy, not dirty, but depressing. I don't think there is any air conditioning either. Radiator heat but didn't see duct work for air. Didn't know when booking that parking is an additional $15. Staff was nice,...

I stayed with three friends in the Plaza Suite. This is a Lovely boutique hotel. I loved the old time setting. The service was great when we asked for an extra sheet and blanket. We did not use the kitchen, but it was very nice. Everything was so clean. The breakfast is delicious with local fresh foods, however it closes...

The Plaza hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Milwaukee. It was a great location and an excellent price. it is hard to find accommodations that fit a family of 5 and the Plaza hotel was way more than I imagined. I would definitely stay there again!

The location is great. It's close to the lake shore trail and many places to eat and shop. The overall room was little dated and there wasn't heat control in the room so it got a little warm at night.

Love the keys. And I remembered to return them. The ambience takes you back in time, but authentically rather than "retro." And because of its authenticity, some of the edges are wearing just a little thin, Adds to the charm because everything is clean and works.

The location was great for visiting the Milwaukee area. However, for some reason, the room was given to me on the first floor, close to the lobby so I heard noisy college kids laughing and keeping me up all night. Also, my room was closest to the restaurant, so I heard people coming in for breakfast bright and early at...

My mother and I asked for a room on the ground floor so Mom could have an easier time getting around and the staff made sure we had one. Parking was down the street, just a few steps from the front door.
