My room was small and modern. The size of the room was perfect as it was only used as a clean, comfortable place to sleep. The bed was super comfortable and linens soft and clean. The room includes a microwave, mini fridge, and hair dryer. There was also room to hang my clothes above the microwave. I’d definitely recommend and stay here on my future trips to Minocqua.
We stayed one night. When I registered, the owner/clerk was not wearing a mask, which was very alarming to me. We were disappointed that he didn't seem to take that simple precaution of wearing a mask. The small plexiglass partition was not sufficient in my opinion - wearing a mask was also necessary. The room was simple and small, and needed more lights. The shower was good. There was no coffee/tea making equipment. The price was reasonable.
What a chic little place! We needed a drive up to door place in order to accommodate our boat and truck. Here is our answer. This is a redone 60's-type motel. They remodeled it into a room reminiscent of a European hotel. It is simple, clean, and comfortable. We will stay here again. There is even a fish cleaning station out back 🐟
The room is exactly as pictured. Although it is cute, I didn’t care for the squishy floors and loose bathroom tiles. Our room had a peculiar smell that my wife thought was smoke but smelled much worse than that to me.... We were in the area for two nights and spent the second one at the Rhinelander Comfort Inn. Pennies more, nice pool and hot tub and a tasty breakfast. Motels, never again.
Stopped here unexpectedly. Paid $79 for two double beds. Nicely decorated with rustic, homey fixtures and finishes. Located opposite Torpey Park with nice view of lake. Walk to restaurants, grocery store.
