Lovely spot for family holiday - we could walk to the beautiful beach easily with our four year old twins. It looks as though the cabins vary in how well they've been kept but number 54 was great. Really clean (&I'm fussy!), well equipped and loved sitting out on balcony. So much to do in area - we loved cocoa...

We have been visiting Barend each year for 12 years now. As we arrive at our regular cabin, we feel a sigh of relief like we have arrived at our 'home from home' for a week. You can experience the most spectacular vast view of the night sky and more stars than you see from most places. There are lovely...

We had a brilliant holiday. The lodge was comfortable and clean. Lovely views, amazing weather. We were a party of five adults and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bar area was a great place to relax in the evening and the food was good.

It was a lovely property, in a lovely location The cottage was brilliantly located and really handy for the pool and the bar A suggestion would be too add another bedroom to the property or sleeping area, as the property was spacious enough, but as friends, it was hard sharing the uncomfortable bed

Thanks for the feedback Alison, I will pass it along, we do market the Farm Cottage as being ideal for couples due to the fact there is only one bed.

“We stayed in chalet 35 which is conveniently placed for access to pool and bar/restaurant. Would advise though if going in autumn or winter months and nights are dark early to take the torch from the chalet with you if going to bar as it is very very dark on way back to lodges.”
