I'll start by saying that we really enjoyed our stay. Many of the comments about the beach, restaurant, bar, and friendly staff are spot on. But with the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I'd like to highlight some of the things that were less than perfect. We came the last week of June and rented a cabin next to friends. We all...

Dear Dumpyryan, Thank you for taking the time to write a TripAdvisor review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and especially the Hodag Hunt. We are sorry that we were not able to have our Patio Coffee Shop open during your stay. Staffing was a problem and we were not able to open it up until...

We love HA. It has been our family reunion location for nearly 20 years. Our kids have grown up there. All the cousins would mutiny if we didn't go every summer. That says it all. Staff is friendly and helpful. The owners are deeply involved and caring. Stuff to do for evryone in the family from little kids to grandparents....

What location can you name where you've come back every summer for the past 20 years? HOLIDAY ACRES! In fact, our family of ~20 people have not only spent our summers at the resort, but Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations. The draw of our family extends from all over the US and even as far as England to enjoy absolute paradise....

What a great supper club!!! This gem is hidden away and it's part of Holiday Acres Resort, but open to the public. When we got to the resturant we spent a couple minutes exploring the main office and looking around the grounds. All the staff we talked to were extremely friendly and welcoming. I was so impressed with the resort...

This place is just like the ones where your family vacationed in the 1950's. Probably it hasn't changed much since then. The rooms are OK but are in serious need of updating. The bed was comfortable once we removed the dead spider from the quilt. The hair dryer didn't work and the lodge didn't have a spare so we roughed...

Dear trailman1943, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at Holiday Acres Resort. Yes, our model is the old fashioned Wisconsin lake vacation, with some extras like a restaurant, indoor pool, sauna, tennis courts, all season trails an 1000 acres of woods on the water. Took a two hour trip to N WI to enjoy some colors and "some place else". We recently got a pup and needed a pet friendly environment. We had been up in that area of the woods several times, stayed there once before (a while back) and enjoyed a good meal at the 3 Coins. Our previous experiences were enoyable...
