My fiance and I had just finished a long roadtrip from NC. After traffic, GPS, radio and cell phones, we were relieved to find such a slice of heaven as Littledale. We were welcomed by two friendly dogs who ran alongside the car as we drove down the long grove surrounded by rolling hillsides speckled by sheep. Margaret and Graham... More

The views are gorgeous and the B&B itself is immaculate. However, we expected a bit more interaction with the owners on this working sheep farm. When we arrived, we were shown our room and the common rooms and basically left on our own. We wandered about the grounds and looked at the gardens, but no outdoor furniture to sit on... More

Littledale Farm is located in the driftless area of Wisconsin, one of the most beautiful areas of the state. The rolling hills, sheep in the pastures, warm hospitality and English stye decorating, art and breakfast, create the atmosphere of a mini trip to Britain. If you're lucky, you'll have an opportunity to see the border collies moving the sheep to... More

This past weekend, I stayed solo for two nights at Littledale Farm, using it as a base of operations to go fly fishing around local trout streams in the Driftless area. It was a lovely place with clean and well-maintained interiors and lovely gardens and grounds. The hosts, Margaret and Graham, were welcoming and accommodating, and they served a delicious... More

We very much enjoyed our overnight at the Littledale Farm B & B in Richland Center. Hosts Graham and Margaret graciously shared their vast knowledge of sheep and herding, and we we free to roam the grounds of their lovely farm. The British-style breakfast included fresh eggs from their own hens as well as toast, bacon, sausage and of course... More

We recently spent one night at the Littledale Bed and Breakfast just outside of Richland Center. The countryside near Richland Center is some of the most beautiful in Wisconsin and Littledale B&B is located on one of the most spectacular ridges in the area. Littledale is also a working sheep farm, and we were fascinated and enthralled watching our host... More

Would you like to go to sleep counting sheep--real ones? Truly, we did not even need to count the sheep we could see outside our bedroom window because the instant we stepped from our car and walked up the garden path to the farm house we relaxed. You can't see the road or another farm, simply the magnificent views of... More
