We made the mistake of seeing the words resort and assuming that is what it was. Its not at all if you stay any night other than Friday or Saturday. It is short staffed and nothing offered any other day. We were very disappointed and...More
I have 2 boys 9 and 12. One loves the excitement of waterslides and the other is low key and likes basketball, lazy river and just splashing around in the water. This place has it all and then some. We went on a Sunday when...More

If you are comparing the Grand Lodge to the big waterpark hotels in the Dells - no. If you are looking for low key fun, an off-season getaway - yes. My son is 8 and he loved the slides, basketball in the pool, lilypads, water playground. For one or two days, there is enough to do but not like the Kalahari, Great Wolf, Wilderness, etc. The rooms were super spacious which is great when travelling with kids.
