This hotel needs to be cleaned. It is filthy from the parking lot all the way up to rooms. We got our stuff and left. I want a full refund! Very disappointing. The lobby was gross, the window were covered in grime, and the floor was pure filth. The smell was absolutely horrible. We had to walk through the breakfast area to the disgusting grocery store to get service. Every table was gross with food and crumbs and spill of who knows what on it. This hotel sketchy and gross! The room was full of filth. I don't think the carper has been vacuumed in months. There was a pile of beetle bugs along the back wall. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned since it was used last and the pillows were yellow stained and appeared to be soiled. We got out as quick as we could. I want a FULL refund.…
Very friendly service and staff. Wonderful view of downtown Sheboygan great view of the U.S. Bank building. Four floors is terrific. Rates are very good prices. Rooms for the most part clean. Bathroom shower was a little down with the plug not really sticking into place.
Four 60+ guys from three parts of the country decided to go to an IndyCar race in WI in July. Our leader, who travels a bit on business and is loyal to Choice Hotels, booked us at the EconoLodge. I checked TripAdvisor and quickly emailed him the titles of the five most recent reviews which clearly indicated bad-to-terrible experiences. But he said that the place got 3.5 stars on the Choice Hotels website. As it turns out, for the money (other standard/traveler sorts of places were at least 1.5 to 2.5 times the price) it was OK. Basic, budget place with sink in entry area rather than bathroom, dated carpet and bedspreads, a couple of disposable glasses for sink, thin scratchy towels, etc – but reasonably clean and the price was right. I’d probably rate as 1.5 to 2 stars if I wasn’t considering price in my rating.…
Pretty sure this hotel houses meth heads. People wandering around all day and night. No one sleeps in this hotel. People were smoking in their rooms, and in the hallways. Management did nothing about it. Avoid this hotel. The owners clearly do not care about anything. Completely disgusting hotel. Definitely more of a drug house that people are living in than a hotel. So. Gross.
Good location, but that's about it. The downtown area seemed pretty deserted even though it was a weekend. We have a king room with Jacuzzi. The room was very large, There's no carpet, it's laminate flooring which is nice I think it's much cleaner than old dirty carpet. But it needs lots of work. There is no more pub, its just used for breakfast. There is a fairly large convenience store in the lobby, which is nice. A lot of the games in the game room were out of order. The vending machine was out of order. The washer and dryer were out of order. The carpet in hallways and elevator were dirty and worn. The room and halls needed to be painted. The slide lock on the door didn't work, so we pushed a table in front of it. The area behind the headboard, was open and dirty. I think it was the original baseboard heat But, now there's one unit in the wall for heat and AC. There were some shady looking people outside smoking and just hanging out. I was a little worried about my car. Ii would not stay here again.…
