We stayed here on a package plan with APT. We had driven by many times and wanted to try it out. We liked the hotel overall. You have to drive back into the hills, passing much of the golf course and some residential areas on the way there. The entrance was a bit confusing until we found the correct spot....

We came for a convention and they closed down the resort for just our group, which made it extra special. All the rooms are overlooking the golf course. While the rooms might be a little older in style they were very comfortable and pretty much sound proof too. We brought our 14 month old daughter and she would wake up...

I'd gone here once prior with a friend of mine, but decided on a solo trip this time for some peace and quiet. Quiet, I got (until they began mowing the golf course at 6 the next morning). Peace? Not in a room like that. It was horribly outdated, and not in a quaint way. It was very uninviting. I...

We really enjoyed The House on the Rock Resort! All of the rooms are all suites and actually two separate rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Was a great location to go to the outdoor theater and to the Frank Loyd Wright visitor center.

Driving into this resort was the highlight of the visit. It's surrounded by beauty, including an amazing golf course, which we would like to come back and play sometime. But, the resort itself was a little less than accommodating for us. It's nice, big and has good amenities, like the pool(s) and golf. But, it's very dated to say the...

It had a really nice work out room. The indoor pools were nice, but a little chilly. Same for the outdoor pool. The room accommodations were pretty standard, but worked nicely for us. We did not eat at the restaurant there, but chose to eat in town instead.

We spent our wedding anniversary in the resort. The resort itself was beautiful but will be much appreciated by golfers because the golf course a was definitely beautiful, well Maintained and humongous! The hotel I think needs some updating though. I do not know if it was just the season but I felt like the hotel guests were mostly elderly...

We got a call two days prior to our visit informing us of a bacterial outbreak in the water system & cautioning us to drink bottled h2o. We'd reserved a whirlpool rm so we cancelled and went elsewhere but I give them props for informing us so we could make an informed decision about something that could affect our health.

We stayed here and at The Inn on this visit and both had its charms. The pool at the Resort is fabulous and the course looked great. Our room had two rooms that overlooked the golf course from the third building. The package deal with tour and stay was really reasonable. After staying there for a night we toured the...

It was a one bedroom suite with pull out sofa sleeper. The resort is done in the Frank Lloyd Wright style and was nice. There is a restaurant on site and the food was great but pricey for a family on a budget. The pool area was very nice with a unique style. They really needed a Gardner to bring...
