Historic and comfortable. The water front is just a short walk away in a park. A wonderful view. Saw some white pelicans along with many eagles and turkey vultures soaring the cliffs. Already looking forward to our next stay.

There are only a couple of places to stay in Stockholm, a town of 66, and the Spring Street Inn is the new one in town, opening in early 2015. Overall it's a nice place, if a little worn and threadbare. Beds were comfortable, the upstairs "suite" (two bedrooms with separate access to a communal bathroom) were convenient for two...

We had a fantastic stay at the Spring Street Inn at Stockholm. What a darling town on the beautiful Wisconsin side of Lake Peppin! My husband and son loved fishing and I had a great time shopping and enjoying the charm of the community with my daughter. Our suite at the Spring Street Inn was perfect with a separate room...

It was a very cool old historical place. The bed was super comfortable!! there was a bar and grill right next door with friendly folks running it. Ask about the bean soup!!! Couple of cool shops near by in walking distance. The view of the lake was nice. Saw lots of bald eagles. as soon as the leaves turn we...

In July, we spent two nights in the lower suite. What a wonderful old building. It has cabin feel but with hotel amenities. Innkeepers are fun. We ate pie across the street at the Pie Company - amazing. The weather was beautiful as was scenic Lake Pepin. Breakfast was at Homemade Cafe in Pepin then dinner at the Harbor View...

Hey Girlfriends, be smarter than we were. Sadly, we paid before climbing steep stairs to upper suite. Inn has old carpet and overwhelming musty smell. A make-shift air conditioner was on floor in twin-bed room pointing toward other bedroom. We drove away to modern, fresh Pepin Motel, and paid half the price of Spring Street Inn.

We regret that you detected a musty smell in the suite; it had gone unnoticed by others, including us. Part of the charm of the 130+ year old building is that it is built over an active spring, so it is entirely possible, especially after all the rain we’ve had. In fairness to the inn, the air conditioner is not...

Hello, we just want to clarify that this review was intended for a different Spring Street Inn, maybe in Newport, RI? Come see us in Stockholm, WI - a spectacular coast of another kind!

We had a wonderful weekend exploring Stockholm and the beautiful surrounding area! When we arrived at the Inn, owners Paul and Pam were enjoying wine on their porch with a neighbor and invited us to join them. What a warm and wonderful welcome! We stayed in the 1st floor Peterson Suite that was cozy and comfortable. We had a bedroom...

We decided to take a last-minute get away before the school year begins and were lucky enough to get a room at The Spring Street Inn. It was all we hoped for...quiet, peaceful, filled with personality and the MOST COMFORTABLE BED we could hope for! The room came with a basket of scones, muffins and fruit...more than we could eat....
