This is a comfortable hotel with an obvious "throw back" to the fifties. It is a hotel with small rooms and is quaint, not luxurious. It is affordable and has a nice location. All of the areas we were in were clean and the staff was very friendly. They could upgrade a few things and it would still feel retro...

Our first impression was positive. As lovers of history, we saw a property frozen in time, including having a clean and welcoming facade. We were greeted warmly in a quirky and fun lobby taking us back in time. Our room was a step back into the 50's with tables, chairs and a desk from that period. The room was cleanand...

We stayed here two nights for an ice fishing trip. Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet, friendly staff, close to everything - and the 50s decor was just plain fun! This is truly a gem!!! Also a terrific value. We were able to help ourselves to a light breakfast & coffee way before the usual hours, and the owner even helped...

Loved this place to the max. So very clean, and welcoming and great beds. Would return anytime. Super value and we could walk to many places in Sturgeon Bay. Decorating throughout very retro, brought back memories.

Quite simply the best place to stay in Door County! Staff is friendly, helpful and treats you like family! Door County has changed so much over the past 20 years and this Hotel remains a landmark! Highly recommended!

We chose the largest room on the 2nd floor. We stayed at the Holiday Music Motel in the beginning of October 2016 for 2 nights. I was sad to leave and wished we had 1 more night. The employees are very accommodating and when you ask them a question, they are very happy to help you. The free breakfast was...

I'm simply writing a review to reiterate what others here have said and help out these decent owners. This place is a great value and a very cool old 50s motel, refurbished and well run. Nothing but good things to say about the experience from the friendly staff at check-in to the very clean accommodations.

We were leary of staying there because the rates were so low, but the reviews were excellent so we tried it. It was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and unique. The breakfast was really good and plenty for us to start our day. The people were very friendly too. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice VERY CLEAN motel close to downtown. Rooms are retro 1950's look with desk, furniture being from the 1950/60's but in excellent shape. Breakfast is included too. The lobby area has many interesting displays to look at. The employees we dealt with were great. Its walking distance to downtown with several restaurants, shops and museums. Very good rate too. Cant go...

Many good things have already been posted about this motel, built in 1952, and I agree with all of it, the friendliness, retro decor, comfort, cleanliness, good value (especially in the off season--my room mid-week in December was only $49!), the breakfast (available until noon!), the convenient location. But beyond that, it is homey and casual and humorous in a...
