Quaint hotel on the lakefront. Family run. Rooms need updating but are fairly priced and in a great location. Restaurant and bar have a beautiful view of Lake Michigan in a cozy 1970s atmosphere. A step back in time.

I agree with the above answers. Not much of a tourist destination.A better choice is Milwaukee. It offers a variety of big city amenities including a walkable downtown riverfront area, lots of restaurants and micro breweries. Other attractions are the art museum on the lakefront, the history museum and the "domes," an inside/outside horticultural park, and a world famous zoo.
