Great visit. Very friendly. Make sure when you book you do not need to cancel. Like many places on Washington Island, it is very busy and they do not refund if canceled. Understandable, but keep it in mind. Their location is very close to many sites on the island. Bike, walk to many local establishments. Thanks for the accommodations.

I had occasion to stay here on the night of October 10 and had room 9, which was incredibly spacious and worth every penny. Krista, one of the owners, checked me in and was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. The property itself has a swing, a playground, and is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Though a car is needed...

Lucked out by getting 2 nights, sat and sun at this wonderful find. The room is spacious, clean, and the staff and owner are more than accomod!ting. We would not even think of staying anywhere else if we are fortunate enough to return, and we will tell everyone to stay here. It's not glitzy, no flat screen tv, but I'm...

We stayed in July. The room was large and very reasonably priced. We had an in-room refrigerator and stove. There was a separate bedroom and parlor which enabled us to have guests visit without the awkward sit on the bed feeling. The room was clean, modern and fairly well appointed. Maid service was excellent.

I really enjoyed the motel. The owners are very caring. The room was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable. I also liked the quiet fridge in the room. The bathroom was also big, with plenty of towels, and full bathtub. Being a bird watcher I also enjoyed the quiet environment and rare birds singing right by the window....

My family and I stayed at the Townliner recently and my daughter who just turned two left all her favorite toys in a drawer. As we were packing up she started to get upset and unpack her toys, then we would repack them. Well she must have snuck them out right before we left and hid them. The people at...

We stay here every year and keep going back for more! Quiet, quaint and comfy. We stay here with a group of friends every year and meet new ones to boot. Walking distance to town yet off the beaten path. The owners could not be more gracious and have too become friends. We are already booked for next year.

Stayed during the week, 9/28/14-10/1/14. Had the place to ourselves. Room was clean, beds were ok. If you are a TV watcher, forget about it.The Townliner fit the bill. We enjoyed our stay. Patty & Ken

Not a bad hotel for the are, needs a little updating and thicker walls though. It would also be good to increase the size of the parking lot as its hard to backout when its full. It looks like the best hotel on the island but if I was to go again I would do a bed and breakfast.
