We were on our way north and it was suggested that we stop at "the place with the kayaks in the tree" for a drink!! We had passed Bear Paw several times, and were curious as to what they offered! We were all glad we stopped, great Bloody Mary's , and the co-owner, Eric, was very professional and pleasant! I...

Camped on Aug 5th for only one night which was one night too many. Several campsites partied until 3:30 AM w/loud music, firecrackers, & very loud drunks. Apparently no one is on sight to enforce quiet hours which are supposed to start at 11:30 PM. Woman's shower only had cold water. Definitely not a place for a family or anyone...

We had an awesome time!!! This small family owned attraction was probably the most fun we have had In awhile. They have your choice of camping, rustic cabin, think hard tent, cabins- bed and bathroom and air conditioning and finally chalets. The chalets have like 3 beds,a bathroom and kitchen. We stayed in the cabin and it was perfect. They...

My girlfriend and I just camped at Bear Paw last weekend, and had an amazing time. The staff went out or their way to help with our every need. They were really accommodating. The weather was great and the food in the bar/restaurant was great. They have the best pizza around. Thanks crew for making our holiday weekend a blast

Wow, this is a great place to stay if you are in the White Lake area. My husband and I stayed in the Mountain Jack cabin and it was cozy. There is a chair, queen bed & dresser in the room. The bathroom is big with just a shower. The newer cabin feel is nice too. The only really downside...

We recently stayed here while visiting with friends over a holiday weekend. We had two rooms -- the Whitewater and the Voyageur. Both were upstairs and had their own private covered deck with 2-3 chairs. Each room had two double beds with cute quilt bedspreads that looked north woods and completed the 'homey' cabin feel. Walls were all wood, clean...

Traveling with a group or solo this is a fantastic place to visit. I went up in July of 2011 for a women's white water kayak clinic. I have to say the entire trip was transforming. The clinic was exceptional, about 25 women ranging in age from 20 to 70. I did not feel out of place and extremely safe...

We stayed in the Mountain Jack room (no coffee pot). It's a lower room in the 4-plex, so you have the covered patio at your door for bikes, cooler, etc. We could hear the kids running around above us, but if you wear yourselves out during the day it's no matter. It's a great set up, with the Wolf River...

I booked a room for 1 night to stay while snowmobiling . This is my second stay here. The owners were very easy to work with and left me a key for late arrival. They have an assortment of motel-type rooms, small cabins and group cabins. It was dead quiet at night, I slept better here than at home. Lodging...

This is one of the very few places in White Lake that serves dinner. I would highly recommend it. The staff are extremely friendly, the food fresh and good. It was the one place in White Lake that we really enjoyed all the staff and felt welcomed. We would really consider staying here if we return to White Lake. Very...

“They offer both loging and camping. The rooms are very clean and nice. From my experience there is no best room, it really depends on what you like. There are off the road, have in room showers.”
