From check in to check out, our stay here was a delight! The check in was welcoming and speedy, thanks to the manager Mark Smith. Our room was clearly newly remodeled: fresh paint, carpet, bathroom sink/cabinet, and was very spacious. It even had a microwave...More
We stayed at this motel in off season, so not sure how busy/loud it is during peak season. It’s nice, the rooms are minimalist, but good condition and meets the need for the low price you pay. The man at the desk was very pleasant...More

Hi. I wrote the review about room 42. It was upstairs near the middle. I'm still creeped out! My daughter's bites were very bad! They are finally starting to disappear. I had Orkin check our house and everything seems ok. I did our laundry twice to be sure we didn't bring any into the house. Orkin took care of the luggage etc. We threw stuff out too. I didn't want to risk it. We have nice mattresses at home. I just feel bad for the people who stayed in room 42 before us. They definitely brought more than memories home with them!

Our room was fine, and yes, like you, we checked, too. My husband and I both worked at residential facilities, and those can become breeding grounds for bed bugs due to being somewhat transient in nature. Now, I can't remember the room number but we weren't in the main part of the hotel; our room was with the queen size bed and it was one closest to the main office, there's like a grouping of 5-6 rooms. Hope that helps!

"Rooms 1 through 7 are further from the pool. Room 7 is close to a nice grassy area we used for our dog."
