We had 4 in our group and didn't want the expense of 2 rooms. Big Horn was able to accommodate our needs at a reasonable price. Located right on the main thoroughfare, it is convenient to restaurants and local attractions. The owner/manager was very helpful and handled all our needs.

I went for my 30 year high school reunion. Face it, Buffalo is a tourist place in the summer and gets few visitors in the winter. Hotels have to make their money when they can. Motels are spendy in Buffalo. Big Horn was reasonable $85 for a two bed place. Everyone walks and this place is close to downtown. The...

We prefer small, quiet and friendly. This checks all the boxes. We were in town to knock around and explore. If we could leave the car behind for most of our outings, that was fine with us. Big Horn satisfied that as well.

We were forced to seek shelter from a hail storm on the interstate and exited at Buffalo. We stumbled onto the Big Horn on the way to the Occidental Hotel, where we were headed for cocktails. This is NOT a chain motel with cheap-o "modern" accruments. Rather this is an authentic vintage motel kept in pristine condition by Trudy, who...

We loved our stay at the Big Horn. First off, the owner was great. She is entertaining and very helpful. What a difference that makes. Our room was spacious and clean. We were exploring the "old" west on this trip. What better way that to stay in motels rather than cookie cutter hotels. Sitting outside our room and chatting with...

We have been on the road for 2 weeks and had one of our best sleeps here. Trudy, the owner was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Although no breakfast is advertised she provides coffee, muffins and fruit first thing. Interesting place to stay too, if we go back we will stay here. Great to meet you...

We like the small motels, where you can pull up to your door. We had that here. It's obvious the owner takes great pride in her place. The room was clean and comfortable. I got a great night's sleep in the comfortable bed, and thought the shower was great, complete with big, fluffy towels.

Sunday, July 24, 2016 - 6:40pm. We had been on the road since June 7th and with one exception have stayed at Super 8's exclusively. This time, according to Google, the price between the Super 8 and Big Horn motel was the same at $72. I thought it would be nice to stay in a quaint little motel, so I...

A basic small town motel with extremely friendly, competent proprietor. Very personal service. (Helped us set the TV up - thanks!). Beds were great. Room had all the amenities that a larger motel would have. Gallery an extra bit of fun.

This is an old motel with air conditioning that does not cool - what a hot and uncomfortable night. The shower is makeshift and very uninviting to use. Do not stay at this motel, if you want a good night's sleep. We could not wait to get out of this motel in the morning.

I am sad that you did not say anything when I could show you how to turn it on vs just the fan blowing... Our "make shift" showers are small and old, but have exceptional pressure and are clean. Did you even look at the pictures before you booked? I guess not since there are many accurate shots of the...
