I've stayed in the Irma many times over the years because I'm the one in charge of booking the accommodations for a yearly tour through the area. The Irma was Buffalo Bill's own hotel named after his daughter so I book the tours there for the historic novelty. The hotel rooms themselves are not bad considering it's an old hotel...

Okay place to stay for one night, clean, but old dated rooms. Old historic hotel in a convenient location. Night time staff were not very helpful, no elevator so we had to carry our luggage upstairs halfway across the hotel. Not much else to say.

A great way to experience Cody. We enjoyed our clean, charming room and the proximity to downtown. We began and ended our night at the Irma bar and the bartender was very nice and a lot of fun. I'll stay here next time I pass through.

The Irma is different. We had one of the name rooms. The room was large, great bathroom and bed very comfortable. The Irma was built circa 1900. We had to go thyough the restaurant and walk up a staircase to get to our room. The layout of the hotel was confusing. We enjoyed our stay.

Although we didn't stay here I found the property quaint. It's definitely old, but not in a bad way. If you like staying in places that are all about history in the area you're visiting...this would be it.

Loved our small historic room upstairs but a bit pricey for the square footage of the room. Had a bear claw tub, etc. The hotel was very busy and we made a reservation for dinner after the famous Gunfighters show (which was fun) in the parking lot at the Irma. We had to wait over 45 minutes and the waitress...

This historic hotel is a great place to look around and maybe get a drink at the bar, but don't make the mistake of staying here. Our queen queen room had tiny double beds and was not very nice. Rooms are not worth the price, and staff could care less. Take a look around, but stay somewhere else.

Spent one night at the Irma on our way to Yellowstone. We booked this hotel anticipating a more "historical" type room. I found our room to look tired and dated, rather than historical. We were in the newer section of the hotel. One of our friends actually had one of the suites (named after people), which are original to the...

What a treat to stay at the Irma ! Wonderful , fun , and walkable to everything . The hotel dining room was fun to see . Watch the gunfight from the porch and shop the downtown shops. Cody was one of our favorite places . People are friendly. Make sure to see the Bar given to Buffalo Bill.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The room attendant did an excellent job keeping our room tidy which was greatly appreciated after a long day at Yellowstone. I never leave a tip at a hotel for the room attendant but I was impressed with the service so I left a tip. I also enjoyed...
