We arrived late, in the rain, and the "resort" is so remote that there was no chance of finding another place to stay. Honestly if it hadn't been raining we would have gone somewhere, anywhere, and set up our nice, clean tent. As it was I took one look around outside (trash and JUNK, literally EVERYWHERE, car parts, heaps of...

This is a beautiful location, but they are so short staffed that getting decent customer service is slim. You can blame the employees as they are doing the best they can, but I would go camping vs paying for rooms that aren't very clean. Food isn't bad but I wonder about how clean the kitchen is if the rooms are...

Nastiest hotel I ever stayed at. Needs to be burned down and rebuilt it's so filthy! Finding a bed bug in the bathroom should have been the first clue to high tail it out of there. Place smelled like a septic dump outside. Reminded me of "Deliverance" while walking around the property. Fell asleep around 11pm only to wake at...

The scenery surrounding the Bearlodge Resort is fantastic. The hotel is sorely in need of cleaning and upkeep. The 'front desk' is difficult to locate, situated between the bar, the restaurant and 'gift shop.' We waited for the clerk to ring up restaurant meals, bar tabs, and give directions. And as noted in another review, there is a deposit for...

We stayed here July 15, 2012. The place seems to have lots of management problems - many rooms were not ready for guests at 2 pm check in time, the advertised laundry (a treat if you are camping in the Big Horns) was out of service. The guest interface is ridiculous - one lady has to manage guest check-in and...

On the recommendation of a Wyoming travel guide we drove to reach Bear Lodge Resort before dark hopeful of a bed. In 40 years of travel we've never been asked for a cash deposit for our room key (but paid ) only to be shown to a room which didn't lock anyway. Checked to discover that the kitchen was open...

Went up on the week of July 4th, 2012. pre-booked the "Jacuzzi Suite" for 2 nights. It was a complete disaster from the moment we arrived. Room wasn't ready, no ice machine, the staff was rude and annoyed in the restaurant, bar, & main counter. Jacuzzi broke 10 minutes into our "romantic evening", no room to front desk phone. After...

We truly enjoyed the first night of our honeymoon at the jacuzzi suite at Bear Lodge Resort! The staff was great and the room was nice!

My family and I have been going to Bear Lodge for over 15 years. We have alway enjoyed our stay and the beautiful location in the Big Horns. However, a week before the 4th of July, my opinion of this establishment completely changed. The staff were consistent in their rudeness and general unhelpfulness. We tried to get a fishing license...

The outside looks better than the inside! No place to hang clothes in the bathroom, so after laying clothes on the floor, they got wet from the toilet! Told the owner, she said they would tell maintenance. The hallways were paperthin & you could here everything people said! Had to run the fan on the heat unit to not hear...
