We found this hotel online while traveling to Montana to hunt. The hotel is connected to a nice bar and billiard room. The lobby was absolutely beautiful! Wood beam ceilings, vintage decor with western theme. Hotel built in 1913 and I could literally FEEL the history of this place! Our room was clean and roomy. Bathroom decor older but very...

As much as I wanted to give this local place a good review I just couldn't do it. Although the rooms have been remodeled they are extremely small with no room to put anything. They are very inconsiderate to their guest on the weekends and play music to its full volume past 3am, and people screaming and yelling outside your...

This is a somwhat old fashioned hotel but is being steadily updated. It is very comfortable and the rooms are large and well equipped with a fridge and microwave which would be useful for some travellers. It is centrally located in the old part of town and is, in my view, a better place to stay than one of the...

My family and I had a wonderful time in Douglas and it was mostly thanks to the Hotel LaBonte! All the furniture and decorations were unique with the perfect western feel for the cute historic town. The outside is adorable and has the perfect downtown rustic feel. The owners are very hands on a friendly. It's the perfect small town...

We stayed at the quaint Hotel LaBonte in Douglas WY for 5 months in an apartment on the top floor. The entire Hotel has been re modeled & all the rooms are beautiful! Great Bar & Restaurant on site & you can walk anywhere in town. Can't say enough about the manager Bill & the owners Macy & Keith. Great...

The owner was very friendly but evidently we were over a bar as there was loud music until 2 a.m. We were told that the front desk wasn't staffed and we might have to find them around the motel so when the music started, we hoped that it would at least quiet down by 10 or 12. For those who...

Stayed 3 nights in October during a hunting trip. We choose the LaBonte over chain hotels to try downtown Douglas, and had a great experience. The staff and management was helpful and accommodating (refunded one night stay we had booked but left early). It is a 100+ year old building, but has been recently renovated. Our room was a remodeled...

We stayed one night here on our way back to Denver airport, and it was comfortable, clean, and quiet - we had rooms on the second floor, away from the bar, and didn’t hear music at all. There is currently no dining room, but there is a delightful Japanese restaurant right next door, and a more “American” style restaurant 50...

During the day, this is a very pleasant motel. Our 2 rooms were both clean and comfortable. Due to the oil boom, the hotel rates in Douglas are ridiculous at the chain hotels filled with oil field workers. Hotel LaBonte is just a short drive into the town of Douglas and worth it to save money. The historic hotel is...

Even though myfirst night was spent "just above the LOUD live music and then the jukebox in the bar", I had to hand it to the manager! He offered to move me to another room that was much quieter (which I did)! Now, if he can get his "cleaning staff" to WAIT til a reasonable time to begin moving up...
