Stopped here on way to Yellowstone. No need to unhook car. Beautiful park with very long level sites. We got our dish to work but do have cable too. Wifi is working great. Perfect overnight stop or for longer stays. Quiet..
Stop, Get Out, and Look around - you will love what you see! We chose this location, on a recommendation of a recent guest and friend of our family. We had no idea it was going to be an undiscovered jewel. We just wish we...More
This is the most peaceful, beautiful, amazing campground that one could ever imagine. The spots are spacious, well-kept and in a very natural environment right on the Wind River. We did spot some deer and lots of birds.

Yes, Longhorn is very pet friendly. I took 5 dogs with me. Many people set up little fenced areas to give their dogs more room to run as they otherwise have to be leashed. They also have a non-covered kennel area you can keep your dog for a small fee. I opted for a boarding kennel in Dubois and it was atrocious! Better to keep them at Longhorn if you are planning a pet-free day in the national parks.
