The Lazy L&B Ranch is a hidden gem! I went with my husband and two daughters ages 6 and 8. Both girls love horseback riding, although they did not need to have any experience to have fun, and my husband and I were beginner riders. I did extensive research on ranches out west and we landed on this one because it had such great reviews. All of the reviews were spot on and we are so happy we chose this one! It was the perfect vacation for a family, as everything was planned for you, and kids can be kids! They could get dirty, hang out at the petting zoo on their own, and be very independent. All of the children made their own kids table so they sat together for each meal and the food was incredible. There was one family ride and the for the rest of the time, the adults and children separated. I wasn't sure about this at first as I thought we would all want to ride together, but the kids wanted to be together, and it gave the parents, adult time. We ended the vacation feel refreshed and filled with memories. Thank you to all of the staff for being so kind, welcoming and making us feel at home. I would highly recommend this for any family! My daughters said they would come here over any other vacation any day. We are going back next summer!

Property's Favourite Review
I visited the Lazy L&B ranch with my dad, and our week could not have gone better. The weather (unseasonable rain and lighting and thunder) threatened the riding itinerary, but we got to ride every day we were there. They’ve got 85 horses on site, so if the one you’re paired with isn’t the best fit for any reason, they’re happy to swap out your horse. Most of their herd are quarter/draft crosses, so the horses are sturdy and sure footed. The host family (Jason, Debbie, Julia, Felicity, and Summer) are wonderful people. Their interest in ensuring everything was just right is extremely evident. They mixed things up such that each day had a different itinerary with lots of activities to opt into or out of: roping clinic, leather workshop, fly fishing clinic, etc. A few meals were cookouts, which was a nice change. Speaking of meals, their kitchen staff were true professionals, including a dedicated pastry chef (all cookies, muffins, cakes, pies, etc. were hand made daily) and a former private chef to a billionaire. Everything was made from scratch! Our first evening meal was filet mignon with a huckleberry Demi glacé. It was a top 5 steak of my lifetime (I’m 49). Well seasoned cast iron over fires were common. Bacon every morning! Eggs cooked to order along with huge spreads of fresh, delicious, and healthy food. The wrangler staff, 3 of whom were the owners’ daughters, were outstanding. They were all patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. By the week’s end, you’ll have a chance to ride with all of them, and every one of them becomes your favorite. The rides were varied terrain with breathtaking views and high wildlife viewing probability. During our stay, we saw pronghorn, moose, coyotes, and—my far and away favorite—wild mustangs! We got within 40-50 yards of wild horses that have never been touched by a human. Unbelievable! The ranch itself is a gorgeous spread in a rivered valley with cottonwoods aplenty. The river was flowing too quickly to fish well while we were there, but their private pond produced rainbow trout for those who like to fish. They have a store with western apparel, Lazy L&B swag, and miscellaneous sundries (sunscreen, lip balm, etc.). There’s a brand new pool that was heated to 78 degrees and a hot tub just a stone’s throw from the rushing river. The hot tub has powerful jets that actually helped relieve sore muscles. If you make time to speak with Jason and Debbie, you’ll appreciate their values, story, and demeanor. They make you feel welcome, and your enjoyment is clearly of utmost importance to them. Without question, I would return to enjoy it all over again. You won’t be disappointed. For reference, I have stayed at 5 other guest and working ranches, so I have an informed basis for comparison. This is definitely one of the good ones!

I definitely chose the right Wyoming ranch for my dude/guest ranch vacation. It was primarily a horseback riding trip for me. Awesome hosts! Family owned ranch. Great making new friends. Of course you can hike and fly fish as well. Beautiful country! They put out a delicious spread! Already planning to return.

We recently stayed at the Lazy L&B for a "family reunion" vacation. I can't recommend this place enough, the food was outstanding, the owners and staff accommodated our every request, the views were unparalleled. The cabins were simple, yet very clean and cutely decorated. The lodge is the original settlement building from the early 1900's. If you have ever thought about a dude ranch vacation, this place is it. It has a real dude ranch feel while providing creature comforts like excellent food and a nice pool and hot tub:) I would say it was a "bucketlist" trip, but we will definitely be back!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this ranch and my experience there. I am not sure there could be a better location. The views are breathtaking. When I picture Wyoming, this ranch is what it is. The owners and staff are so friendly they feel like family and went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our time there. The food was AMAZING. The wranglers are great at helping you feel comfortable with the horses. The staff also do a great job of giving both the kids and adults a great experience by allowing some time together and some time apart. My group was originally looking for an adult only experience, but after having scheduling conflicts that didn't work out. Having the kids there was not a problem at all. They were around just enough to be super cute and not make it feel like a kids camp. They seemed to all have a blast doing their own thing and got to spend time with their families as well. Another huge advantage is the location of the ranch. Grand Tetons is close enough to easily drive to from the ranch. We took advantage of that and also went a bit further to Yellowstone, which could be done in a day if you wanted to spend a whole day exploring the parks. I would 100% recommend this Lazy L&B if you're looking for a dude ranch experience.

I went with my daughter to the ranch for the last week of the season adults only. The ranch was wonderful and we had a great time. From the moment we were welcomed by Deb and showed our cabin. It was clean and cozy. We. met a great group of people and all of the staff was great. We were able to ride everyday with the only downside being One ride a day only in morning. Weather played a factor in this. There were activities planned for afternoons and we tried them all Fly fishing, roping, crafts and a corn hole tournament. The food was excellent with a variety of meals being offered. Happy hours were fun and seemed to bring the guests together. Scenery was breathtaking and fresh air all around. My only suggestion would be possibly have game nights or evening activities to keep guests involved. Otherwise we had a great time and I would recommend this ranch for friends and family.

Authentic. That's the word I'm searching for when describing a joyous week at the Lazy L&B Ranch. Authentic experience. Authentic food. Best of all, surrounded by authentic people -- staff and fellow visitors alike. Our family found the "space" created at the Lazy L&B Rach provided us with a unique opportunity to relax and embrace our real selves. We connected with nature, including the horses. We connected with the environment, including the spectacular vistas. We connected with the baby birds chirping with mouths extended as we exited our cabin each morning. And we connected with each other -- sharing and making sweet family memories to last a lifetime...or at least until we visit again!
