SUCH a great experience! Lynn is a fabulous host who makes you feel right at home, like you're family! The property is so peaceful and quiet, and the back deck is absolutely perfect for relaxing evenings listening to the river. Highly recommended - we will be back!!!

Spent a phenomenal weekend with Lynn and RG last weekend. Easy reservation system and check in. Sat on the deck both nights by the Encampment River watching the stars enjoying the solitude. Grounds and lodge were immaculate. Rooms were very cozy with door to the main lodge and a door to the deck. Our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast... More

Great views, right on the river. Unfortunately, we weren't greeted, except by a barking dog, we had to seek someone out. I can't stand plastic flowers, which I saw alot of on the grounds, such a great outdoor place and could be more beautiful with planted perinials. Interior could stand some updating, our room had a sign in the bathroom... More

The owners were so welcoming. Place is right on the river with nice views. Great homemade breakfast. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We wished we could stay longer. The owner is an artist and you could buy his paintings.

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Lynn, who is one of the warmest and most energetic people I have ever met. (And, by the way, she was also a gold medal Olympic cyclist!). The setting is incredible. Our room, as well as several other rooms, opened to a huge deck overlooking a creek that was running wild... More

Driving down the dirt road that led to this country B&B, we were amazed to see mule deer relaxing under a shady tree and horses grazing in an open field. We loved the property with its many flowers, greenery, numerous birds and animals scurrying around. As we entered the front door of Spirit Wes Rivert Lodge, we were greeted by... More

We were fortunate to stay at the Lodge thanks to dear friends who planned our time there. Our cabin on the River Encampment was artful, fun and comfortable with a kitchenette . with the sounds of the river just outside our back door and deck. the Finneys who own and built the lodge are remarkable, talented, and great hosts. Lynn''s... More

Lynn is an amazing energetic host who makes you feel at home right away. The inn (a big log cabin they built themselves) has very comfortable rooms that are decorated in fun ways. Each room fronts a deck on the Encampment River and has its own entrance. Lynn serves up a hearty breakfast that got us through some excellent hiking.... More
