My friends and I had a long day moving and traveling from Colorado Springs to Bismarck ND .We stopped in New Castle for the night. Iva was warm and friendly. As we got to our room I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the place. It was very quite also. It really had the touch of home...

The building and rooms are dated outside and in, but clean. Expect a smaller room and bathroom with a comfortable bed(s). The heat is forced air which has a loud fan, but once you get the room to your desired temperature unless it is below zero it should stay warm enough through the night to turn off the heat. The...

I felt like a kid again as I entered our "suite" which is really a huge two-bedroom fully furnished apt all decked out in the 80s. But hey its clean. Good value. Lots of deer around. But don't show up before four!

Newcastle was not on our travel plans; we took the wrong road. But it turned out to be a great mistake. We found this cute, extremely friendly and clean motel! The room had a comfy chair and rocker. The grounds were lovely and peaceful and we were greeted by deer the next morning. A must stay!

I had a pleasant reminder of an old concept: "guest". Yes, my two nights at the Pines reminded me of how good it is to be treated as a guest and in turn my responsibility to the host. My time at the Pines was priceless. It made me think of when I was a child and I would visit my...

I researched Motels in Newcastle WY and selected this property. It is an older lovingly updated and maintained motel. Yes the rooms are smaller than we might be used to - however they are CLEANA l beautifully decorated in non-commercial style. A live plant in the room. Off the beaten path, so quiet - the outdoor planting are delightful. Homemade...

I am doing this on my phone so it will be brief. This motel is just as described by so many on Trip Advisor. Friendly Owner. Nice location. CLEAN ROOMS. Reasonable prices. My wife gave me an "A" for selecting the Pines Motel. That ought to tell you enough.

Pines Motel is a little off the beaten path, and desk hours aren't what you expect in the bigger towns, but it is a very well kept hotel, so well that you almost think you should clean up after yourself before leaving. For a quiet, friendly place to sleep in the Black Hills to Yellowstone corridor, you can't go wrong!

Newcastle, WY is about as far west in the Black Hill as you can get, and perhaps is seeking to gain some positive reputation by claiming to actually be IN the Black Hills. There is not a lot going on in Newcastle, but it is quiet! The Pines Motel is clean, quaint and easily accessible. We ordered pizza for dinner,...

Who knew there would be a homey, comfortable, clean, relaxed place in Newcastle, WY? Now I'm glad we drove clear across Wyoming today, and through the grasslands, at that. At the end of our long haul drive, and several days of camping, we stayed in the suite. Ahhh, the comforts of home. Right down the street, a pretty darn good...
