My uncle recently was married here. It was absolutely beautiful and quite peaceful, as well. The setting is picturesque and the cabins are the perfect little escape right along the creek and pond, not too far from the restaurant, but far enough. The sole issue (and it's a big one) is with the service. First off, the place is not... More

This is a good area for some beautiful scenery. We stayed in a cabin, which was comfortable and offered for a reasonable rate. The cabins aren't high-tech, offering a more rustic feel. There's plenty of space around the cabins to spread out and not feel crowded with other travelers. The restaurant on site offers decent menu options, and the service... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights and it was just wonderful. Cabin was clean, the area is beautiful with a babbling brook nearby and a pond right outside our window. I was worried about mosquitoes but it was moving water. At first my husband was bummed because there's no tv and... More

We rented two cabins and were more than happy with them. They fit into the scenery so well. The creek running outside our cabin was relaxing and the pond outside my parents was picturesque. The swings are uncomfortable, but we rolled up our wool blankets and made them more inviting. We also brought our own chairs to sit on the... More

On a trip with my sis, I had read about the quaint town of Story, WY---so decided we needed to take a side trip off of hwy 90 and go visit. I read the reviews about the Wagon Box Inn and Cabins. So we set out to find it. That wasn't easy, even with GPS, but somehow stumbled upon the... More

My husband and I booked a cabin at Wagon Box Inn for our anniversary. We needed time alone together and did not need a lot of tourists sharing it with us! This was the perfect retreat -- a cabin with a queen bed, small kitchen area with coffee maker and microwave and bath. There was a creek nearby providing the... More

In years past when our family traveled to Wyoming for summer vacation one of our favorite restaurants was the Wagon Box Inn located in Story Wyoming. The meals and the service were always outstanding and as the years have gone by our family came to expect the same high quality of service we always received. Unfortunately tonight’s dinner was nothing... More

We stayed in the Wagon Box Inn during a family reunion. We booked the Tepee room as we had three of us and we were provided a roll away for the third. It should be noted that the Tepee at the time was the only non renovated cabin. The cabins are comfortable and screened. We received a bucket of firewood... More
