I visited Manago Restaurant at the recommendation of my cousin Kaleo. He told me about the pork chops, so when I visited there on October 21st, of course I had the chops. There were three of my business partners with me and we all ordered the chops. The meal was served family style, a giant bowl of rice, a plate...

Friendly service with a great breakfast. No frills rooms but clean and comfy, what more do you need. Ample parking which is handy as it is a little out of town. Try and get a room on the third floor for ocean views at a good price

The Manago Hotel is basic, clean, functional, and offers ocean view rooms with balconies at a bargain rate. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. (We at the restaurant too, which I review separately.) The immediate area has a couple of other dining options, and a grocery store nearby. There can be a lot of stairs...

The Best Pork Chops around, there are to sizes regular and large. I usually get the regular size because after all the sides they bring out before the entree comes. The people are very friendly, they check to see if you're doing okay. The only thing that people might not like is the place is old japanese/hawaiian restaurant but is clean....

The Manago! Family owned and operated for three generations and going on to the fourth. It's quaint, very clean, and doesn't advertise it's green: witness: no amenities other than liquid soap from a dispenser, but, you don't have to ask for clean towels (heavens) by placing them on the floor, or ask for crisp sheets. My kind of green. No...

We stayed here three days, top floor, ocean view, for roughly $81 a night after all taxes and surcharges, etc. It's a great deal, probably the best you'll find on Kona side of the Big Island without having to stay in an absolute dump. The place is old and looks it, but is clean and well-run, with real personality and...

It was a great visit. We love visiting and staying with locals everywhere we visit and this was top notch! Great views and wonderful staff.. Dinner was like it was at nanny's house.. Lots of people and organized chaos. Perfect for the night!! The shower was like a hot waterfall with the power from the Gods and clean tasteful rooms....

Pictures on website misleading our room looked nothing like it An okay place to stay if you're on a tight budget but our room was very aged with rusty gappy blinds and the handles falling off and the hallways really didn't smell nice most likely due to the stinky toilets Noisy in the mornings either from the popular restaurant downstairs...

Manage hotel is certainly not "Fancy"! They provide a clean room with a bathroom with a shower, towels etc. The grounds are well kept-nice garden- and the view from the 3rd floor is very nice. Place has no elevator- be prepared to lug your baggage upstairs! The "receptionist" - who I believe is also the owner, is very courteous and...
