Met by Gayland who was surprised when asked when breakfast was served. He pointed & stated its in the refrigerator. we had stale molded bread, Muffins from god knows where. OJ was frozen but no container large enough to mix the water with the juice therefore not usable. Views at Waimea are nothing like shown on the web site. we...

We have stayed at the Bellevue for business and pleasure, & it's become our first choice for both. We love the semi-secluded nature of the property, the glorious mountains gracing the skyline, the quaint view of the town below, and the aloha spirit of the host. All rooms are homey, equipped with fresh-baked muffins, and decorated island style. It's a...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was just ok (furnishings, breakfast in the fridge)... the only pluses would be the location and the view. HOWEVER, on our first night my boyfriend noticed some bugs crawling out here and there. I noticed them the 2nd night - EVEN ON THE BED!!! I was so disgusted and disappointed....

My Daughter-in-law and myself had 2 quiet and peaceful nights the beds were very comfy. the rooms are very large and homey to relax after a day of sight seeing/or watching Soccer games. Enjoying the evenings after watching our son (grandson) play soccer at HPA tournament. The Belle Vue was a great location it was only 4 mins. from the...

We stayed here the first 3 of 9 nights on the Big Island and this place was a perfect fit for us. Good base for exploring north Kohala, Hamakua coast and the Mauna Loa/Mauna Kea area. It's spacious and quiet, and sits up on the hillside a couple hundred feet above the town. The host Gayland is a friendly, soft...

We loved our stay at the Belle Vue in Waimea this September. Our charming host provided information and tips on the area, surfing and all the background info we were curious to learn about. The studio has wifi! and a kitchenette, the fridge was stocked with delicious breakfast cereal, muffins etc. We very much liked the area up in the...

My wife and I stayed with Vivianne for two nights at the Belle Vue in Waimea, followed by three nights at the Belle Vue Kona in Kealakekua Bay (also reviewed). They were both great. Our hosts could not have been more gracious - the room was a delightful, full studio apartment. Fridge came pre-stocked with milk, coffee, cereal, bread, etc....

We arrived in late June and was met by a marvelous host who was very helpful, but never overly-so. We stayed in the suite that was equipped for all our needs, including lots of fresh fruit and a refrigerator with healthy food for breakfast. Our favorite part was the lanai and the view of the lushness of the area and...

Right when we came to the location, we were warmly greeted by a older gentleman that showed us to our room and gave us a quick rundown of the location. The chameleons family were amazing, the flowers that bloom in the later afternoon were also amazing. The kitchen/bathroom were well-kept despite the few visitors that came in. The only complain...

This B&B is located at a great location up the hill where you can have an afternoon stroll down the street with a grassy hill. We stay at the studio which is roomy. Another big plus is there's a fully equipped kitchen - great for those to travel with kids. Host was friendly.
