I would like to say a big thank you for having us at your home in Volcano. I enjoyed coming back to this secluded part of the island after going out and spending all day looking at the Volcano National Park. The room was of good size, the bed was very comfortable - we also were happy to find the...

This is THE place to go if you want to stay close to the volcanoes area. It is litteraly 5 minutes drive from the park entrance (which is fantastic to arrive early and stay until late for the crater night viewing). This B&B has it all: Very quiet as located at the end of the road (!), on a large...

A lovely little place homely and great hosts. Ideal place to stay for exactly what we wanted, that was a base close to Volcano NP so we could explore in the evening and start off early. Such quiet surrounds and was bliss. Rooms were clean and tidy, plenty of towels & supplies. Wifi was just what we needed as well....

We stayed only one night, during a visit to the National Park. The B&B is very conveniently located, just a short drive from the entrance of the park. The hosts were really helpful: they even made a call to researve for us at a restaruant nearby. The room is in perfect state, with a full supply of towels and accessories....

My friends and I stayed in this bed and breakfast for two nights. We had wonderful time. The room was very comfortable and clean. The whole place was quiet and the surrounding was so serene. The owner was very helpful on tips on what to do and see in the Volcano area, and he served breakfast to all of us...

I'll start with the pluses. Our bedroom and bathroom was comfortable and a decent size. The home was nice and the common area had a large TV available to the guests and was comfortable as well. The price was fair and affordable and close to the Volcano Park entrance. We were given a list of RULES and instructions that we...

This property is amazing. Your hosts are great and very nice people who will help you with anything. Be prepared to share a home with them - if you decide not to stay here, however, you will miss the nicest and cleanest room we have seen in the US. With warm blankets :-) You can order whatever you like for...

Overall this place served its purpose, which was having a cheap place to stay to go to Volcano national park for one night. It was clean and the owners were very nice. The rule about not allowing alcohol on the premises is a little lame but if you're only there for one night it's tolerable.

We stayed here from late August to early September in 2010, while visiting Volcanoes National Park. The bed and breakfast is close to the park, much closer than the places in Hilo we had originally considered. The hosts, Ray and Lani, were friendly and helpful. While we ate the simple breakfasts they prepared, they enthusiastically shared interesting stories about their...
