My husband and I started off our 40 th wedding anniversary at the Cottages. The rooms were fantastic, spacious, clean! Everything you can ask for. Rustic style with complete modern comforts! The fruit bowl was a lovely addition, coffee maker, toaster, etc all in the room each day a breakfast set was left by Thersea . Everything we could have...

It was just lovely - so close to the vnp but so quiet. Couldn't get over how green it was and how many birds u could hear singing - I thought it was a cd. Was close too to the volcanoe village Restruants. Would love to come back one day when the lava is visible at the park (not just...

Mahalo for your review and comments! We love it when guests get lost in the feeling of the property and the rainforest. That's why we love this place too! We will see you the next time the lava is flowing! Warmest Aloha! Theresa

My husband and I had the privilege to stay at this wonderful property. Loved the feel of the canopy of trees around our room. Our room was spacious which included a kitchenette and sitting area. Outside our room was a spacious common area for guests. It was a wonderful place to watch and listen to the numerous birds surrounding our...

Staying at Tree House is just as the name implies. The rooms are multi-storied and connected with a deck and walkways above the ground up in the trees. The room we stayed in was gorgeous with a kitchenette, dinette, and a sitting area with a gas fireplace. Fresh local fruit was the highlight of breakfast and the room was complete...

The 4 of us had rented two rooms here, the Cedar Cottage and the Pacific Island Studio. Just the Cedar Cottage might have been enough for the 4 of us, but we enjoyed the extra space. Our 2 teenage daughters stayed in the Cedar Cottage (which is a separate building with 2 floors by itself) and enjoyed it because they...

My wife found this place on TripAdvisor and it just seemed right. The guest cottages are part of a several unit accommodation ranging from studio to a couple of bedrooms. All of them have a decent level of privacy, and you know that you're in a rain forest. The beds are comfortable, and have warmers, so when it's damp and...

Perfect. Spotless. Beautiful . Charming host. Romantic. Delish breakfast. And, though we are dog people, we even loved Maurice. The area is beautiful; the park a must visit. The room was charming in every way, the common areas as well. Thanks.

We stayed in the Cedar Cottage and felt as if we were home, only much better than home. The owner was gracious and took time to orient us to everything including restaurants that we would need. No details were omitted from this great concept. We especially enjoyed a lovely breakfast experience that the owner provided us and the other guests...

These cottages were great! Spacious, clean and offered privacy from your neighbors. The only thing I would say was a 'con' was that the public washrooms weren't kept in the greatest shape, but the showers offered hot water (which I feel is rare for public showers) and were very welcomed after a long, damp day outside. The actual location is...

I found this place by accident. I booked one of the owners other properties close by and when he mentioned that his other property was a treehouse I immediately asked if he had any openings which he did! Both locations are way above average for a b&b in my opinion but there is just something about a treehouse. Anyway Gary...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Look out your window and see giant tree ferns (hapu'u) greeting your arrival, just inches from your eyes. Volcano Tree House was built among the trees to preserve Hawaii's spectacular native rainforest. Reach out and touch ohia trees from your deck as you listen to native songbirds. This is the place to come to get away from it all and reconnect with nature and your inner spirit. Choose from two studios and one suite, all with private entrances. ... more   less
