As advertised, and completely met or exceeded our expectations. We spent just as much to stay at a budget friendly hotel in kona and this option was so much better. King bed was awesome, room was clean, and private bathroom was so nice. Location, location, location!!! This place was only 2 minutes from the entrance of the VolcanoNtl Park. I was concerned...

During our stay in Hawaii, my wife and I stayed at the Volcano Forest Inn, Volcano, Hawaii. It is a Bed and Breakfast located just outside the Volcano National Park. This is a beautiful B&B with large bedrooms and forested areas around the property which deaden any road noise. There were also game birds roaming the property called Kalij pheasants...

I was impressed by the personal greeting and many amenities there. It was small and quiet yet close to Volcano and reasonably priced. They served a very nice breakfast with wonderful coffee and juices. The rooms were large clean and comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay. We wanted a place close to Volcano NP. This was the best place. Dan was quiet but friendly, answered all our questions about the park and nearby restaurants and had menus to view. There were travel guides and information about the Park available. Internet was available. The rooms were spacious and...

Recently spent 4 nights at the Volcano Forest Inn. This is a small and cozy lodging. situated in the midst of a tropical rain forest. The rooms are spacious, clean and reasonably priced. Watch Hawaiian pheasants and other bird life as you relax on the lanai (porch). Bask in the tranquility and plan your visit to the Hawaii Volcanoes National...

Good location close to the Volcano National Forest. Surrounded by beautiful, lush tropical gardens. It was quiet and clean and each room had a nice patio area. However, the bed was terribly uncomfortable and we barely slept a wink - seemed like the bed and bedding was 30 years old, not at all comfortable. Breakfast was not great, not particularly...

Dan was a great host, nice quite place right by the national park for all you hikers out there. They provide breakfast in the AM and allowed us to cook our own since we have e dietary restrictions. They had got tea available 24/7. Thought that was a nice touch. Small fridges in the rooms.

The manager, Dan, very accommodating. Room was big and comfortable with private porch. I would definitely stay here again. For the price it cant be beat around the park. I have dietary restrictions, but the host said we could use the kitchen to cook after normal breakfast hour.

The Volcano Forest Inn is convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is a quiet place, relatively new, breakfast is included. If you plan to spend time at the national park, this is an inexpensive option.

Spacious, immaculate rooms. Dan the host is a bit on the quiet side, but as friendly as can be. Internet worked well. Breakfast of pancakes and freshly cut fruit was adequate. Everything you need in a B& B Very good price!
