the treehouse is an awesome experience, in a rain forest... loved my stay there. very close to Volcano National Park. lots of details in the workmanship of this treehouse, so many windows, very nice to watch the trees sway in the gentle breeze.

We loved our stay in the tree house. It is very unique and secluded. If you are looking to be one with nature this is the place for you. I will say it was a little odd feeling the first night not having any window shades, but you get used to it once you realize how nice it is be...

LOVED this place!!!! after travelling for almost 24 hrs this was the perfect slice of heaven for us! We enjoyed meeting Skye and hearing the story of how the treehouse was built. It was so quiet and peaceful being right in the middle of the rain forest. We spent both of our days hiking and exploring the Volcano National Park-the...

One of the funniest most unique stays we have had. Skye was great and his treehouse is immaculate. Loved the outside decking and all the details throughout the house. Don't worry about the rough road in or the little storage hut when you pull into the driveway. Just look up and you will see a glimpse of the treehouse and...

Wow was all we could say. Amazing treehouse. Skye put so much thought into every detail. We stayed 4 nights and hated to leave. So much to do at the park which was just a hop, skip and a jump to the active volcano at night. Perfect location. No oven but we macgyvered heating our garlic bread over the fire!...

We loved our stay in this extraordinary tree house! The layout is definitely quirky (lots of steps), but I think it's part of the charm. Since I was concerned about the bathroom, I'll say up-front: It was super easy and very clean! The shower was magnificent--very hot water. And the toilet was regular flush, just like every other hotel you'd...

We came to the Big Island on our honeymoon and could not have imagined any place being better. I got the tree house as a surprise for my new husband but ended up enjoying as much if not more than he did. It is set off the main road a few miles from the entrance of Volcano State Park and...

Skye's Volcano Treehouse was one of our too highlights while staying on the Big Island. Skye was very quick to email me back when we were booking and answered lots of questions I had about location, directions from the airport, and local hot spots. Skye takes a deposit that needs to be mailed to him via personal check and the...

“It's only 1 treehouse. It can get a bit humid like in any rainforest, so pack a fleece to be comfy. however, the fireplace is great and the thick blankets and doonas bring all the warmth you need.”
