We love this place. Waking up looking at the lush nature around us was wonderful. The staff are very kind and helped us with everything we need including reserving a delicious dinner in a nearby restaurant

I'm shocked by the reviews here. I found this place did not live up to the photos. It's far more rustic than the photos appear. We felt like we were in a fishbowl with little privacy despite the curtains. Heat was difficult to control -- it was either very hot/dry or too cold. There was no in between. Breakfast was...

This lodge lived up to its online reviews (thanks TA contributors!). Would recommend it highly for anyone looking for a beautiful non-hotel experience. One thing to keep in mind are the somewhat limited eating choices (and places close by 9 PM)- so keep that in mind when planning your day. And fantastic staff (Meghan who helped with booking questions and...

Amazing place! Set in a rainforest with tropical plants, the cabins are so beautiful and relaxing to stay in. You feel like you are somewhere exotic. Perfect location to exploring nearby Volcanos National Park.

Located within a suburban subdivision (on a 1 acre lot), this complex of 5 bungalows and a reception house is hidden amongst the rainforest plants. We were warmly greeted by Meaghan and shown to our "hut", which was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. One odd quirk: since state law prohibits B&Bs from actually cooking you a hot breakfast, it...

I stayed in an octagonal unit with windows all around, and tropical plants and ferns and palms all around. Hot tub. The gracious and kind staff made homemade breakfast for us, accommodating our rather stringent dietary needs. This was an absolutely delightful place. Perhaps the most delightful at which I have ever stayed.

Loved this place! We stayed in two rooms while exploring the volcano park. I don't remember the names of the bungalows, but one had one queen and the other was suite-like, with a king and a single in a separate room. The park entrance is only a few miles down the road with a place to pick up sandwiches, water,...

This place was to die for. We stayed in the Mauna Kea bungalow. It was beautiful, private, and so comfortable. It was cold and rainy when we visited so we loved the sounds of the rain on the roof and the gas fireplace in the room. We definitely made the right choice over other options in the area. If you're...

Rooms are spacious and clean. It truly feels like a large yurt amidst a jungle. The place is serene and quiet. It's well located as it's only a few min drive from the park. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, responsive. Definitely would come back.

We stayed in the Haleakala room (November 2016) for a couple days while we spent time exploring the National Park. It was the perfect, quiet place to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring. We rarely saw the other guests, so you felt like you had the entire place to yourself. Julie was there when we...
