We stayed at the Ola'a Plantation House, an off property location a block away from the main lodge. It was a fully equipped 2 bedroom house, beautifully appointed, with every convenience possible, including a covered circular drive for parking. We were unable to stay at one of the 16 rooms in the main lodge but this turned out to be...

Friends recommended this place and they were NOT wrong. It opened for breakfast at 7:30 am so if you are and early bird be patient. The menu was great and the food was excellent. The place could have used a few more wait staff as it was busy when we were there.

Another wonderful stay while in Volcano. Rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The decor is rustic with a Hawaiian theme. There are several nice amenities. There is Wifi that worked well in my room. There is a common room with books and DVDs. Rooms have recharge stations for all of my electronic gadgets. Using the provided water was not a...

Peaceful, tranquil with beautiful cozy rooms and gorgeous grounds. And the food is fabulous, from fresh papayas, omelets and Eggs Benedict with country fried potatoes for breakfast to delicious dinner fare often with a few dishes giving...

Great location. Quiet neighborhood minutes drive to National Park. Convenient place to visit the volcano at night so you can see the lava bubbling inside the cauldron. I think a couple days stay would be best to enjoy the house and sightsee.
