This was the third time in 5 years we have stayed at this property. (Last year we stayed in a condo at neighboring Kolea and felt ripped off: overpriced, view seriously enlarged/misrepresented in website pictures and management remotely locked us out at 5 minutes after our checkout time/date- we had a baby carseat and bag inside and had to wait...

I spent one night here, and it couldn't have gone smoother. My room had a beautiful view and on the walk to the elevator, the view of Maura Kea was stunning. The bed was comfortable, the room was well appointed and it had good wifi and television. All was lovely. I had a drink that night at the bar after...

We were staying there for a four club golf tournament and was conveniently located to the golf courses. Choosing a cabana we were quite a distance from the tower and facilities, but it was so quiet and peaceful. We could see the ancient fish ponds and also the beach from our windows. On checking in, our room wasn't ready until...

Beautiful hotel, rooms, and beach. The breakfast selection was good. The concierge desk people hype the helicopter trip too much -- though they were correct about Kailani tours of Hawaii (Jim carey is an amazing tour guide) and some of the drives. The beach was nice and I had a decent snorkeling experience there. Saw about 10 different kinds of...

Loved the service, amazing location at this property, directly in front of A-bay, our favourite beach on the Big Island. The south wind of the hotel is under reno, but work was barely noticed during our 7 night stay. Not sure what changes are coming to the booking procedures, but the Marriott portion of the hotel is still top-notch, beautiful...

We just got back from this resort. We are Marriott gold members so they said we would get a room in the remodeled section of the resort. The room was nice enough but had an adjoining door. The other side of the door was the next rooms bathroom. You could see light from under the door and could hear everything...

Our family of four stayed for four nights in an oceanview room. Whilst the room was cosy and could do with some refurbishment the view more than made up for it. The room was clean, all staff more than helpful, and the pool area as good if not better than many we have visited over our three weeks in Hawaii....

I booked this hotel 6 months in advance. At the time I was warned the hotel was being remodeled. The remodel was to be complete the day after I arrived and I would be treated to a brand new hotel. Not true. Only 2 floors of rooms were complete. The remaining 4 floors were very shabby. The restaurant - shabby....

We stayed two nights at the Waikoloa Marriott in a garden room in the Kamehameha Wing. The room was comfortable and well appointed - after a long day of adventuring the bed was very welcome and felt great! The bar at the hotel is open to 1030pm and they serve food; They captured the Aloha spirit with their Pineapple Margarita...
