We stayed 9 days and when we arrived the front entrance was completely boarded off for construction. I was pissed. I had tried to book a room at the Fairmont Orchid (which is my usual place) but hey advertised that it had on going construction so we booked here. I didn't really want to deal with it but I didn't...

We stayed at the Mariott for 2 days and 3 nights. The resort is nicely situated on a street that is very well maintained (flowers, and lots of green) and within short walking distance from restaurants, shops and malls. The rooms are nice, the pool area is great and also the beach area is spacious and nice with free snorkelling...

What a fabulous place! Construction was going on with the restaurant but other than that everything is fantastic! The views from the pool and the ocean of the resort well worth the price! I cannot say enough about how beautiful this place is! So far the pool is amazing the food has been fantastic and the scenery is incredible! Well...

Fantastic place. Walking distance to many amenities and shops. Great pool. Tours picked us up at the door. Volcano tour was outstanding. Great dining choices. Long walks along the ocean beach. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I just stayed 5 nights at the Marriott Waikoloa. Everyone we met from reception to bar service to valet was fantastic. When we arrived on the Big Island, we had the misfortune to book into the Courtyard King Kam. We were so disappointed that we drove up to the Marriott and they took care of us last...

Had an awesome stay for 5 days in this resort recently. FYI it is going through some major renovation - though it does not affect me much. Relatively huge property, with nice pools/jacuzzis, friendly staffs and great food. Room was very comfortable, and the oceanfront view was superb. Breakfast spread was good and tasty - however they only offer 25%...

Very disappointed with the check in staff here. The place was having renovations which didn't really affect me but I was given very little information from the staff about what our packaged contained. The Marriotts point system does not work for prepaid and you can not split the points between two people. The staff were not concerned in any way....

This place is massive but the good news was half the rooms were being renovated which meant not many people around the impressive pool. This is a beach front property but we stayed by the pool mostly, it was that good. Our rooms were recently renovated so couldn't fault them. Had a really good stay with helpful staff.

We treated ourselves and two adult children to a week in Hawaii. The Waikoloa was a perfect getaway for a family. We stayed in a villa that was the perfect size. We had a balcony with a view of the ocean, a full kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The location was perfect. There are so many beautiful sights and...

Where to start? The positives: GREAT people. Every employee we came into contact with really seemed to care. Sharon and Mark in the restaurant stood out. All were very friendly, and sincerely tried to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of choices, everything tasted fresh, you can order eggs or omletes included....
