My wife and I stayed here for our delayed honeymoon in 2008. The location is great with a clean sandy beach and plenty of free snorkeling equipment. Restaurants were OK but nothing special. Service was above average but the front desk can be a bit more friendly. The hotel has a laua show where you need to pay for the...

My wife and I spent 10 days in this hotel. The beach front room upgrade was totally worth it - seeing the sun set over the ocean was magical. The staff were extremely friendly and always eager to make us comfortable. The location is great, with a great beach (just bring water shoes!) and the hotel is a good size...

In the Waikola Beach area is a great location for a hotel. The area has a few hotels, 2 golf courses and 2 shopping centers about 18 miles north of the airport. Upon check in staff was friendly and good wait staff. Rooms clean and modern with the exceptions of the showers. But a nice clean and comfortable feel. The...

It was September 2012. It took a long way and long time to arrive in Hawaii. But it was worthy. I wouldn’t forget this trip. We stayed in this hotel for a week. The first impression was that the reception didn’t know how to smile. LOL The room was good, clean. It had nice views. The breakfasts were average. We...

This resort has everything - shops nearby, a good bar and restaurant in the hotel - the staff were all smiley, professional and so very helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble regardless of the time of day or night. If you want to see the Island, rent a car, this part of the Island is the sunny part and...

Just got back from vacation on the Big Island. This Marriott is about 30 minutes from the Kailua-kona airport. The hotel has spacious rooms with a nice bathroom setup, the toilet and bathtub/shower are separated from the sink area so it is nice for a couple. The rooms all have a small fridge as well. Within easy walking distance are...

We stayed here four days and really enjoyed the visit. I would have liked a little microwave in the room, but managed to live without it. The only really awful thing was the internet--completely useless. I ended up using my Verizon data plan the whole time. We did not eat at the hotel restaurants. From our experience at Marriotts on...

Stayed here after a disappointing time at the nearby Hilton. This is an adult friendly hotel which tries hard to please. Also a great place for families. Great rooms, nice location, decent price and they don't charge extra for parking. Enjoyed three pools, each at a different temperature, lovely and well maintained grounds, and a nearby beach directly from their...

We chose to stay 5 nights at the Marriott on the first leg of our honeymoon island hopping holiday, and were very happy with our choice! Arriving on the eve of tropical storm Flossie the lobby had weather warning signs out and had closed the pool area for safety reasons. The staff were happy to answer any questions we had, as...

We loved our stay and thank tripmasters for keeping best for the last. We got a nice beach facing room on 5 th floor so all we did when inside was to gaze the natural beauty that was available to us. The rooms were spacious and clean. The property is huge. They have all the sea sport activity available right...
