My wife and I stayed at the Hale Ho'o Maha (House of Rest) Bed & Breakfast for 3 wonderful nights in February 2016, and we would highly recommend it. As my wife said, it was like staying in a tree house as all the rooms and common areas are on the second floor served by a very unique elevator, and...

We were at Hale O'o Maha for the entire month of February, 2016. It was a great experience. The host couple was wonderful. Facilities were great. Spacious rooms. Large bathrooms. Great showers. Views of tropical vegetation and mountains abound. Common areas are large. Full kitchen and laundry facilities available. Breakfasts were incredible. Omelets, french toast, pancakes, eggs benedict, on and...

Great place to stay while on the North Side of Kauai. The B&B is very well kept up. There are many amenities such as washer and dryer, hot tub, beach gear, snorkels, etc. The owners are pleasant and have a lot of information on what to do in Kauai. Toby's jokes need a little work, but he gets an A...

Dear Ohana, We want to mahalo you for your sweet review. We are so glad you appreciated our attention to details and enjoy our knowledge of the island and (somewhat) our small town jokes. We will see about some updates there. Delighted you loved your breakfast...that is one of Toby's greatest artistic ventures besides auto works of art :o) Look...

We stayed 3 nights in the mango room . The room is lovely with a great view of the mountain and ver well appointed. The bathroom had a great shower overlooking the mountain. Breakfast was cooked freshly every morning by Toby and it was different every time with fresh local fruit and original syrups.Probably someone with a healthy appetite might...

Aloha, We also love the Mango room. The outdoor shower down next to the hottub is perfect for hikers returning from a muddy Kalalau trip. We are really enjoying preparing the fruit and vegetables from our garden and granted fruit is not as filling as say pancakes. We do offer these and french toast and perhaps big eaters need to...

We stayed here for 6 nights in the papaya room as part of our honeymoon. The bed was very large and comfortable. We liked Toby and Kirby, both are characters. Toby cooked us wonderful breakfasts every morning including macadamia nut waffles, omelettes, eggs how we liked them, bacon, Mexican wraps and pancakes. There was also a plate of tropical fruit...

ALoha, Mahalo for your wonderful review. We are so glad you liked our comfy beds, our big breakfasts, our peaceful view. We want you to feel at home and enjoy! We are currently really enjoying growing our own fruit and vegetables organically. Toby considers it and cooking his labor of love while he is still quite an artist with auto...

I guess that it depends upon the day, but we found this to be one of the better B&Bs around. I was deciding between a 4 and 5 star and I gave it 4 (I hardly ever give 5), but my wife asked what could have made it a 5 and really nothing, it really did warrant a 5 -...
