We were greeted with warm smiles right from the beginning. The staff at Coral Reef were welcoming and accommodating in every way. Great amenities including pool, laundry, beach cruiser bikes, and a DVD collection for those nights when you need some down time. The couple that manages the hotel had great advice and suggestions in terms of what to see...

Outstanding property and very attentive/polite staff. Located right on the water it is a welcome respite from the outside world. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. We met a delightful retired couple from Washington State who told us that they had been coming to this resort for 9 straight years and stay at least a month,...

I went to visit my son and his new bride after they moved to Kauai. He suggested the Hotel Coral Reef and I was so happy he did. I left 13 degree F. weather back home and walked into a room with beautiful shutters that opened onto a lanai ocean view with a light breeze. Heaven! I stayed five nights...

Let's start with the positives: great location, right on the ocean. Owners were friendly & live on site. Great coffee, organic breakfast & lunch place on site. Good wifi. Needs improvement: room was dated with over-sized dinged up furniture & worn, old bedding. Housekeeping was so-so. I stayed for 6 nights & same big blob of toothpaste was in the...

We found this hotel by accident and it was a blessing. The couple that owns the hotel truly knows what hospitality means. There are no hidden charges. The rooms are directly off the beach and a walking path. There are bikes and folding chairs free for guest use. We loved it so much that we left our timeshare in Princeville...

Chris & Karen are developing a lovely, personal, small hotel, and we enjoyed them, their awesome staff, and the terrific location. Hotel Coral Reef may be a small hotel, but it feels more like a B&B, with all the little touches you'd expect. Best of all is how warm and friendly the hosts and their staff are. The location is...
