Except for the lovely crashing of the waves outside our room, it was QUIET here! Our trip was not taken during a "peak" travel time, so that may have explained the absence of families with children and other noisy people at this no-frills resort. Our...More

There are at least 3 places close by that rent snorkels and masks by the day or week. One is in the building right to the west side of the Hotel entry. Prices very reasonable - especially by the week. You can get bikes that way too and that's a great way to get around on the East side of the Island. You can rent Kayaks too. Cost is a few dollars a day depending on the type you rent. Go Snooba diving. There's a place on the South side where you use snorkel gear but have a tank follow you on the surface. (And a trained diver.) Doesn't require training and you can get down 15' and stay down. Highly recommend it if you like to dive but aren't trained in Scuba. Cost about $75 per hour per person.
