I was very happy with condo we rented here. We stayed there with my sister in law and her husband. We rented a 2 room condo with a kitchen. There was nice ammenities and the TVs were new and so were the decorations. They made us feel very comfortable and the place was very near the beach. The grounds were...

First of all, make sure you have very good directions before heading to the Aston at Poipu Kai. There are no address numbers along Poipu Road and the Aston sign is a half a block off of the road. I see that there is some time of stone sign being constructed on Poipu Road, but can't confirm if it will...

January 28, 2013 Aloha - Thank you for taking the time to voice your dissatisfaction with the Aston Poipu Kai. Your comments and concerns are taken seriously. While we do experience high occupancy during January, February and March, many of the homeowners are here which does constrict the availability options. I am sorry that we were not able to find...

I thought it was horrible that they mae us pay full price when the electricity went out. Our first night we didn't have a fan, nor were we able to use the refrigerator, oven, washing machine, etc. It was burning up in January--I can't imagine what it would have been like in June, July or August. We had to use...

Dear Rachel - I am sorry that you experienced the overnight power outage during your stay. Kauai is a rural place where we do often have intermittent cable and power loss. In most cases, the issues are fixed within a few hours. The electricity went out approximately 3:00 p.m. and it was the expectation that it would be back on...

The last time I stayed in Kauai, it was on the east side near Lihue. After that trip, I vowed to stay in sunny Poipu so I researched the area extensively for this family trip, 26 years later. Poipu is on the southside of the island and has some of the best beaches. It's a good location to set up...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo here, and it was just beautiful! The check in area was a little hard to find since it is not connected to the property, but not a big deal. Everyone in our group raved about it. There was a big table on the balcony so we could eat our meals outside, and...

Just visited Kauai and stayed 3 nights. A/c was not needed this time of year. With natural breeze flowing round the clock, I don't think A/c is really needed. The rooms are older. However, it is a good value of the price one pays.

We had a group of six adults and were supposed to have a three bedroom condo. One bedroom had a children's single bunk bed with a bathroom up a circular staircase. Fine but for 6 seniors not what I wanted. Another room had a pull out couch but no blinds on any of the windows. The entire place looked as...

We have stayed in Kahala three times, twice in a unit let by Suite Paradise for the owner and once in a unit managed by Aston that was arranged via Costco Travel. The Suite Paradise unit had nicer furnishings and electronics and was a little larger, but was also more expensive. Both have good beds and comfortable furniture. Second floor...

We stayed here for a week, through Interval International on August 25-September 1, 2012. The location is pretty good, close to beaches. But the building we were in Kahala, Room 411, was pretty below average. First the unit we were in had no shade at all, so don't stay in room 411 during the warmer months. The air - no...

Had a wonderful 5 day stay at this resort. Since this was a celebration of our 36th wedding anniversary and in our 70s, the Administrator assigned us to a perfect Condo unit. We had the best of both world...the Pacific Ocean and a beautiful garden setting. Since we have mobility problems, we were given a ground floor unit. We shared...
