We stayed here for almost a week and we love this beautiful place. It's like staying in paradise. The nature; rainforest, steep cliffs, beach is fantastic. There are nice trails for hiking in front of your door. The quietness is perfect for relaxing. The Bamboo-Temple with its panoramic window is great, you can enjoy the sunrise out of your bed....

Stayed here and it was heaven. Maui at it's best. Amazing trails, hike down to the lagoon, 20-30 minutes from great dining and beaches. Awesome ocean views. The outdoor shower was the best. We could cook in our room and relax on our deck with our morning coffee- peace and quiet and Maui beauty. Wifi at the main house worked...

This is our 3rd night at the Maui Eco Retreat. After 2 days of hustling and bustling, we stayed put at the retreat today with 2 friends who live in Maui but had never been here. We hiked down to the ocean and experienced the North Shore surf in complete isolation. It felt like we were the only ones who...

Very unique property with clean accommodation and well kept grounds & buildings. Spectacular views and breathtaking private waterfall, suitable for adventurous spirits. We had the good fortune of meeting several other guests and volunteers who shared our fondness for socializing around a campfire at night. Will definitely be back at the earliest opportunity.

There we stayed for a whole week and enjoyed the silence, the nature, the view to the sea - it's a location nearby - or in - the rainforest of Maui - not a hotel with liveried attendants but a amazing location to sort oneself out.

Thai Hale cottage, where we spent five days, is as lovely as it gets. The web site description and photos are spot on and sum it up very well. Isolated at the end of a dirt road, set on a cliff overlooking the ocean, jungle surroundings, tropical rain showers, trade winds, waterfalls, and bird song. The cottage is made entirely...

Our stay at Maui Eco Retreat was by far the best place we have ever stayed at! Everyone was so kind and the surrounding energy was welcoming, love, and peace. Our favorite was how quite and peaceful it was, at night gazing at the stars from bed in the bamboo temple was so romantic, and every morning seeing the sunrise...

Ecologically friendly place, but far off the beaten path. No breakfast, mosquitoes when outside, pricey for the location. Not much to do. If your goal is to get away from it all, stay here. Bed was super comfortable.

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate hearing about our guests' experiences on the land here. Yes, we are definitely "off the beaten path" but that is our charm and why most guests choose to stay with us. We are about 45 minutes from the airport nestled into the jungle and waterfalls of Maui's north shore - a secluded,...

We started our vacation here to spend a couple of nights closer to the Road to Hana. We arrived late and Raphael greeted us enthusiastically with lots of information and tips. The next day we explored the grounds and hiked to the waterfalls and down the ocean trail. The hikes were steeper climb than we had anticipated but it made...

When staying with us you are contributing to the sustainable green living movement that is expanding daily. Escape the tourist-filled places.
