We have always rushed going to Hana. We decided to spend the night and Get up the next morning and go to the 7 Sacred pools and spend 2 hours jumping off cliffs and havind a picnic before going back to Maui. It is so much easier not having to rush back.

This area of Kihei has an excellent beach right across the street but is a quieter location. And Kohea Kai is particularly quiet. The property is clearly older, more rustic and with fewer amenities than the fancier locations of Wailea or Ka'anapali. But is clean, organized, well

This place is a "class act" at every level. I needed to be in Kihei for one night to attend a memorial service. I would have slept anywhere. Chose the Kohea Kai in a rush. What a pleasant surprise, from the moment I walked in the door. The staff are friendly, helpful,

Desk lady was a hoot, average beach was just across the street, The interior of the room seemed fairly new, bed and sleep quality were good, and the room was cleaned nicely every day with little treats left for us. But there were some annoying shortcomings. No elevator,

We stayed here for 5 days, mostly spent on the beach just across the road. Our room (221, the Penthouse Suite), was excellent, spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of the included breakfast, full continental plus

How much is this hotel per night?
We paid $233 a night in September. I agree with the previous post-er that it would be nice to face the beach and have a view from the patio. Our first two nights, we were right on the street, which was close to the beach but noisy and a little too close to the water at a time when Hurricane Olivia was threatening. The manager was most gracious in moving us to a second floor room with a better ocean view, and we felt more secure as well as happy with the view. As the last post-er said, we were happy with the breakfast and the staff there.

I apologize but what email are you emailing? We did make some changes to our email so that could be why. But yes you may always contact us directly or through choice. Our number should be online. Our cancel policy if booked directly is 72 hour prior to your arrival and we do require 1 night deposit which is fully refundable if canceled outside of the 72 hour policy. Upon your arrival we charge the full amount at the time of check in. Hope this answers your question or please contact hotel directly (808)879-1261. Mahalo

Children are welcome. Their Website says it’s family friendly. You probably won’t see a lot of kids as most of the rooms have a king bed as far as I am aware.

Your right it was good. I’ve had a couple of back surgeries and I did sleep well there. I would tell you to email them. I know that other places will tell you, as I have done this myself to get pillows sheets I liked.
