This condo met all of our requirements - amazing view, steps from the beach and affordable price. We stayed in the #403 penthouse. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, tastefully furnished and plenty cool with the windows open and ceiling fans. Terry (manager) was incredibly friendly and helpful. The sunset views are amazing and we enjoyed watching the...

We stayed in the middle penthouse suite on the fourth floor. It had everything we needed, nice kitchen, comfortable bed, and porch with a perfect sunset every night. Stores are right nearby for everything you need. Snorkeling right out back... 100 ft away and plenty more snorkeling nearby. Great beaches a very short walk away. It's off the main road...

We stayed a week in one of the studios in July 2009. Each condos is different. Ours was not brand new but it was totally functional. We did not care about not having granite counters like many condos have :P Having no AC was a concern to me at first, but I must say that with the fan and the...

We based our decision to stay at the Phunahoa Beach Apartments in May on recommendations from 3 guidebooks and comments from recent Trip Advisor visitors. Fortunately for us, there was availability for 10 nights in Unit 305, one of the 2-bedroom condo units. This was an excellent unit, with amazing views to the south and of the West Maui mountains....

My wife and I are regular folks who don't need fancy amenities to enjoy life. We stayed here in a studio unit on the second floor and really couldn't ask for more. Nothing but a lawn between you and the ocean. Wonderful beaches are just around the corner. Good snorkeling is right there in front of you. It's off the...

We loved staying at Punahoa. Compared to the massive and sprawling condo high rises in the rest of Kihei, Punahoa was quiet, private and a wonderful little piece of paradise. Terry is a super friendly, very knowledgeable manager who does everything he can to make you feel right at home. We went during the height of the summer heat, so...

That's what our 11 and 13 year old boys said after a seriously fun and totally kick-back week at this swell spot. For our first family trip to Hawaii, this was the perfect place to start. Million dollar view right on the water and a family-affordable price and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel at home....

My wife and I recently spent part of our honeymoon in Maui and stayed in Kihei at the Punahoa Apts. Our room was a 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor. It was a really great room, very clean, nicely furnished, and the icing on the cake is the balcony with an absolutely amazing view. You're right on the water and...

We just got back from our trip to Maui and Kauai. While on Maui, the Punahoa felt like a home away from home. Terry and Lori are excellent managers, while the location can't be beat! Close to the water, on a quiet side street, resident turtles out front, stunning westward views, it's own small snorkeling beach within steps, and the...

I stayed for 5 nights in the "penthouse" unit #403. Even though I was in Maui on business, I almost cried when I had to leave the Punahoa! The units are extremely close to the water, and the constant roar of the ocean in the unit was wonderful. My unit was well kept and had amazing views of the sunset....
