We stayed in the Papaya Studio for three days during April 2008. We chose Kai's as most of the accommodation on Maui appeared to be well out of our price range (It's cheaper to stay in Kona or Waikiki) as we were trying to stick to a budget of $100 per night. The rooms in the main house are priced...

we love this place, great location close to lots of stuff. lots of toys available so we did'nt have to rent anything. oh, no dogs barked for our 21 day stay. we choose kai's every visit to maui. 3 times to maui so far. save money to spend elsewhere. also a washer and dryer on site!!!

Stayed in main house for 3 nights. We knew there wouldn't be any A/C, but we weren't there much during the day, and the fan and windows were sufficient for Maui nights. Room and bathroom clean. No problems with barking or night noises. Hosts were helpful when needed. Only minor complaint would be contents/variety of breakfast, but overall our stay...

We stayed in a room that was in the main house. When we first got there, the neighborhood looked horrible. The property across the street looks like a junkyard. The actual B&B property is nice and very cute inside. When we got up to the room, we realized that it had no AC and it was hot. The ceiling fan...

My daughter and I went to Maui for the first time to celebrate our 30th and 50th birthdays. We found Kai's after much searching for reasonable B&B's in Maui. Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and the location very much. NEVER heard any dog bark at all!! The last day a wild rooster did wake us, but considering they are WILD...

We stated at Kai's for three nights and the neighbor's dog barked all night long.! The room was very hot, the sheets were threadbare, and the room wasn't that clean. The hostess was not friendly either. I guess you get what you pay for! Would not recommend it!

We spent 10 days at Kai's Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Garden Cottage the entire time. We did a lot of reserch before we decided on a place to stay and found that this was the best value and best location. The cottage was perfect and it was a bonus to be able to have access to all...

We stayed in 4 different bed and breakfasts in Maui and Kauai and Kai's was by far the worse. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main house and the one little fan they provided was completely insufficient. The room was unbearably hot. Mosquitos in the room was a huge problem. The refrigerator was loud and didn't work...

We've spent five vacations at Kai's B&B, staying in the studio or the cottage, and plan to return again. The studio is a neat little one-room self-contained apartment, with everything we needed to be comfortable. The two-bedroom cottage has its own washer and dryer, a well-appointed kitchen, a delightful lanai where we enjoyed dining, and everything we needed for a...

My husband and I have stayed several times at Kai's B&B over the past few years and have been in the cottage as well as the main house and found it to be "our home on Maui". The rooms are very affordable for Maui, clean and comfortable; like at home there are some things that show some wear, but everything...
