We stayed for the first 2 weeks of September (leaving tomorrow). Great spot on Kihei strip. Yes you would need a car to get to anywhere to shop unless you used public transportation. It is clear on the website that there is NO A/C therefore you do need to keep all windows (original crank outs with glass panels) open even with the ceiling fans on. Luckily we had very windy days. This does make for a noisy stay - you are right on the main road and there are apartment buildings right behind you. At 4am the local rooster will certainly make himself known, also at 10pm and 3am. The pool and hot tub/spa are nice and clean along with the shared gas grills.
As for the update, all the doors are original and have been quickly painted over, the bathroom and kitchen tile floors are NOT new, toilet seat in one bath is stained and needs replacing. New furniture, carpeting and kitchen cabinets (that don't quite cover the old floor) are nice. Kitchen well supplied. Being on the ground floor we have direct access to the pool area, which is great, otherwise you need to leave the gated area, walk around the building to access the stairwell. This is a nice time share unit but don't expect any resort amenities. The staff was very helpful and responsive.
Access to the beach is across the street but there are no chairs available - we purchased 4 at the local Walmart. The book "Maui Reveled" was awesome at identifying the beaches, restaurant, activities and sights based on personal experience.

When you make a booking, you wonder if it will be good. This condo was incredible value.

During the 2020 pandemic, the condos have been renovated. The condo was great - very clean & well stocked & a good location to the pool, barbecues, and hot tub. The décor was sort of art deco and a lot of fun. It had new spacious bathrooms, a kitchen with all new appliances and everything you want, and a brand new washer and dryer in the unit, excellent for longer stays.

This property has proximity to everything. You can be on the road to Hana, going up Haleakala, or on the beach at Wailea or Polo or Ekahi in 10 minutes, and with no traffic. If you want to explore Westside it is only 20 minutes!

What made this property extra special was the service. From the minute I called, Dawn took care of us. It felt like visiting home. Dawn listened to our request and ensured that we were placed in a unit that suited us, and made sure that we were happy. If anything was needed, it was almost immediate. A light bulb out, fixed within 10 minutes! The service was outstanding. We will be back because of Dawn.

We had a room on the main floor which I previously read was loud and noisy but I did not find this to be true on our trip. The resort was peaceful and having a main floor room allowed us to quickly get in and out of our Jeep with all we brought to the beaches and to walk only 20 steps to the poolside from our veranda. The location of the resort was at the edge of Kihei away from the busy town area which made it a peaceful resort to come home to at the end of busy days. The pool kept us cool in the sun and the hot tub at night was the perfect routine before bed to fall sound asleep. The beach across the road did not lend well for swimming, but that just made it peaceful for walking along in the morning with coffee (there is a local coffee shop 15 min walk north) or at night to the sea turtle sanctuary (15 min walk south). The pool hours closed at 10 PM so it was quiet at night, leaving only the sound of the ocean to be heard through the open window. Most definitely going back to this resort the next time we're in Maui. 10 out of 10!

Ok, let's get the CON's out the way

1st. NO AC, NO AC, did I say NO AC, that means you have 3 ceiling fans. 2BR, 2BA, no tv in the 2nd BR just in the living space and master BR.

2nd Each room has a ceiling fan, but in the Hawaii heat you have no choice but to have the vented windows open, so that reduces privacy and can create noise. I had no idea going to this type of climate to a "vacation club" I would have to check for an amenity of AC.

3rd Quiet time starts at 10 and apparently the onsite restaurant did not get that memo they were noisy and because the windows open to get air, you would have to keep your voice or anything else down. We also found 2 dead roaches and killed 3.

4th If you don't have a car there is nothing other than the onsite restaurant to walk to. I did have to call maintenance for dishwasher and dryer.

NOW the good stuff (PRO's) You can cross a 2 lane street (kids be careful) and be on a beach. Restaurant onsite, free parking, kitchen with pots, pans, plates, etc. grills, nice pool, pretty clean unit, secure.

Ignore negative reviews this place is wonderful, spacious and extremely clean.

I had initially booked Maui beach hotel and then saw this condo resort and the price was too attractive. Reviews seem mixed but luckily I decided to go with my instincts and book this.

got a 2 bedroom condo with washer & dryer and dishwasher, they have stocked up tide, dish soap and pods.

closets gave set of extra beach and regular towels. everything you could ask for is here.

Typically all Maui hotels were a minimum of $500 a night. This was under 250 a night for a 2 bedroom condo.

Another tip book directly via their website I saved more.

We stayed for four weeks in a first floor apartment (Condo) overlooking the sea and with a great view of sunset every evening. We were lucky that the weather was excellent throughout our stay. The one bedroom apartment was ideal for a couple and we enjoyed our stay enormously. The accommodation was very good indeed and very well equipped. The beach was just across the road and there is much to do on the island. We had no trouble at all in filling everyday of our month long visit.
The resort is very well kept and all the staff we came into contact with were friendly, polite and efficient. The pool was great too.
If we were not nearly 8000 miles away in England we'd come more often!

This is by far the noisiest timeshare I have ever stayed in. The windows are louvered and don't keep any noise out, and there is plenty. Especially when they stick you in a ground unit next to the shallow end of the pool (which by the way, is too cold to enjoy unless you're a screaming 7 year old). All of the units face one another and you can hear conversation everywhere. The RCI Resort ID is C611, which leads you to believe you'll be on the 6th floor of building C. The kitchen utensils are sparse. Zero spices. If you like AC, don't come here. It doesn't exist. Never again.

Yes no AC. Not an issue for a winter vacation. Breeze and fans keep the nice updated accommodations comfortable. Otherwise - lovely front desk staff, direct easy access to the beach, convenient location for Molokini snorkel, Lahaina day trip, and Haleakala. And 17 min from the airport for easy return. Great kitchen for meals (Safeway 7 minutes away). Great hot tub and good social environment with other guests. Oh - easy sunsets steps from the hot tub. Based on the ratings we were very surprised they outperformed and the quaint garden like pool area makes you feel like a home - personal, comfortable, casual and easy. The upgrades to the rooms make this an unexpected gem. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the weather, the sun and Sushi @ Miso Phat in Kihei. Went twice for takeout.
The drive around the island was beautiful with historical sights to see, beach walks and surprises.
Strolled along Lahaina's Historical District dined on fish tacos and fish sandwich at Kimo's as we watched the whales play off shore. Continuing down Front Street the art at the Wyland Gallery and Kingwell Island Art Collection caught our attention. Day trip ended wandering among the Banyan Trees.

I don't know where you saw the free breakfast, but each room has their own kitchen. We never went looking for breakfast. They had an orientation one day with donuts, but that is all I remember. Yes they have a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Building A is closest to the beach, but I don't think there are any ground floor units there - just a couple of 2-bdrm units upstairs. The road noise cancels out the waves, unfortunately. But we pretended the car noise was waves. It was much more private than it was in Building C. All buildings surround the pool, so you will be very close to it.

If I can remember right, yes there was a blow dryer. As for the kitchen stuff, I can't really help much as I didn't use the kitchen much at all.. we were out more then we were in the room. Sorry,, enjoy your trip,, what a great girls trip that is going to be..

Hi. I hope you have a great vacation! You'll need to call the front desk to add the request (it depends a little bit on how you booked the room). Usually they won't take the request until 30-45 days within the start of the trip (I don't remember which window).
