This hotel is located one of the most beautiful places on Earth. But the building is old and crumbling. Hotel is made for mass tourism and therefore extremely crowded and noisy. First of all, the structure of the building made like a triangular prism which inner part is creating

Enjoyed our stay. I like the opt out option for daily room cleaning. Rooms were good value and we enjoyed watching sooo many whales from our balcony. Regular restaurant was pricey but we really enjoyed the sushi restaurant-went twice in 4 days.

Very good stay overall but they will try to get you into the Hyatt residence club nonstop which is unbelievably annoying. Also the food is fairly boring - very little aspects of Hawaiian cuisine which I was hoping for more of. Otherwise very nice room and beautiful location.

Great location and nice common areas. The rooms are very dated and worn, as are the hallways and lobby furniture. But the views are amazing, the staff is friendly, and the grounds and outdoor space are pretty. The pricing is good for this location this time of year. I’m hopeful

This hotel was lovely. We really enjoyed all the birds and breakfast was great too. The beach is a little disappointing with the rocky spots (this is everywhere in Maui) we saw some people swim in the ocean, but my kids felt the Rocks we’re too inconvenient. Great location,

Does this resort have a lazy river?
No, but it does have a large pool that continues under the waterfall, into a grotto with a bar, and out the other side. On the other side access to a water slide.

It wasn't overly crowded when we were there. But we spent a lot of our time away from the resort, road to hana, haleaka, shopping, etc, so we may not have noticed if it was. I think whale watching season is peak season so you will probably be fine going in april. Ain't this fun, Enjoy!

There is a small convince store within the hotel. They sell milk, soda, beer, wine and some ready prepared food like sandwiches, salads and fruit. They also sell snack food. There is an ABC store at Whalers Village about 1/2 mile away and you can get similar things there. Free Kaanapali Trolly runs every 1/2 hour and stops at Whaler's Village.
