Sure, you could pay more, and find greater luxury somewhere else, but it would be really tough to find a better location and better place for the value you find here. As the photos make clear, the location is absolutely right on the water, and the overwhelming majority of rooms look directly down on the beach. The pool, though not... More

We booked this "resort" in December. It's one of our Diamond Resort affiliates and didn't cost as many points as the Kaanapali Beach Club. It's nice and quaint, and not a typical resort. No hot tub, small pool, that doubles as a hot tub since they keep it quite warm. If you want cold water, the ocean is right there.... More

My husband and I stayed here for the last 3 days of our 5 week honeymoon. Our family has a timeshare with VI and we were unable to stay at Papakea for our 10 days in Maui, only 7 so we stayed here for the last 3. After seeing our view, I would have wished we spent the entire time... More

This is a Beautiful & amazing condo to enjoy Maui in. We only stayed for 3 nights before heading on to our time share. Awesome whale watching & the most scenic sunsets we've ever seen. We will definetly stay with you again. We took so many photos from the Lanai that we have a hard time finding a favorite. Nothing... More

I traveled with my mom and son (3.5 yrs) and we stayed in room 501. We had a 1 bedroom which included a balcony off of the bedroom and living room. An amazing view of the ocean and falling asleep and waking up to sounds of the waves crashing. The living room was nicely sized with a very comfortable murphy... More

We found unit #307 to clean and spacious for a studio. Fifty steps away from the ocean made this condo a desirable location. Whale and green sea turtle sightings from the balcony were abundant. Great barbeque area with three grills next to a clean family pool. Plenty of parking and easily accessable to the main highway. This condo is highly... More

Stayed at the Valley Isle Resort #107 from March 6 - March 14, 2010. This is the perfect place for two people to spend a vacation. The owners were easy to contact and work with...the staff at VIR was accomodating and courteous...the condo was tastefully decorated...and the bed was comfy. We stayed at VIR #107 for a fraction of the... More

1001: one bedroom condo perfect for our vacation. The ocean waves will lull you to sleep. The sunsets are perfectly framed over the island of Lana'i during the Christmas holidays. We saw whales every day from our lanai. The interior of the condo has been recently renovated with all new finishes and appliances and free WiFi. It was very comfortable... More

“You don't go to Maui to watch TV, however, having a TV that is 20 years old in a place that rents for this kind of money is a handicap. Could hardly watch the weather or news as the TV reception for this old TV were so bad.”
