This is an excellent timeshare villa on beautiful grounds. Relaxing pools, beach front, and multiple activities for all throughout the day. Close to Lahaina shopping and ocean activities with a free shuttle. Great place to stay warm in the Winter.

We just spent 2 weeks at the Kaanapali Ocean Resort South. We are 5 Star Elite SPG Owners and the first week we spent in a 1 bedroom Ocean View on the 6th floor no problems really nice room. For the 2nd week we moved to a Studio room on the 5th floor. Once we got to the room we

Check in was disappointing. I made the reservation a year in advance, to the day. I was given a unit almost exactly opposite of my request. Their explanation is that I waited too long to make the reservation and the options I requested were not available. When I explained

We love the very scent upon arrival as well as the relaxing way the staff greets us with free valet parking the first day in... so perfect as travel is tiring. Gorgeous lobby view, great live music and happy hours!

These are villas which means even in a studio you have washing machines and a kitchenette. If you have a family or group you can save a lot on cooking in and don't need to bring a lot of clothes. There are also outdoor BBQ pits for residents to use. The pools are not as nice as

Easiest is to just rent it from the pool activities center at the resort (where you pick up towels by the pool). Not necessarily cheapest, but definitely convenient. In lots of cases, if you buy something like a pair of Maui Jim sun glasses, they'll throw in rental of snorkel gear for the week. Cheapest is probably to find a coupon for somewhere like Boss Frog's, but you'll have to grab the gear in town and return it into town. Definitely get the self-clearing snorkel for a couple dollars extra(any water that gets in automatically blows out the bottom of the pipe vs getting sucked into the lungs). Also, they do free Snuba lessons every morning. Like snorkel, but they attach an air tank floating on a raft on the surface. So light and easy like snorkel, but you can go down 15 feet and keep breathing and never suck in water. Free lesson daily is in the pool. If you like it, they sell afternoon escorted tour on the reef. The larger snorkel tours also have snuba onboard as an upsell.

That’s a good question and a great idea! Those items were fairly inexpensive at the local Walmart and Costco. To be honest, I’d recommend calling the hotel first to see if they’d be willing to accommodate receiving a shipment on your behalf.

Depends...if you want to do the fish feeding it's any age, but majority of the others I believe are 4-5 y.o..

Yes it is true. Just like everything else in life, policies have changed & not for the better. Now instead of a complete housekeeping service midweek, owners just get fresh towels and maybe their bed made. I was shocked this year when it happened, so I called to complain and was told that this is what the midweek tidy service is now & full housekeeping service costs extra! Bummer
