Have been coming every year for over 20 years. Always the best in every way. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Right on the ocean. Fantastic views and sunsets. Abundant turtles in ocean directly in front of resort. Barbecues on property. Fantastic management with personal touch. Always go the extra mile. Units are spacious and extremely well appointed. Move in and...

I would highly recommend this property. We liked it so much we came back again. It's so nice to have the quiet environment and the ability to cook meals. The pool is kept exceptionally clean and clear as is the whole property. The staff is amazing and personable and the units are well kept. Not a single complaint. Safe travels!

This is truly the "secret" of where to stay in West Maui....a beautiful low-rise condo complex where you can truly "come home." Well kept privately owned condo's but with a resident manager to take care of the place. We've stayed in units 217, 121, and 223 and they are all wonderful. Don't go to a large hotel, but instead come...

I stayed in unit 222 and had a fabulous experience. The unit is clean, fully upgraded, many options for sleeping arrangements, Hawaiian decor, 3 TVs with a generous DVD library to suit every taste (though who has time for TV in Maui when there are turtles and fish and tropical birds and flowers and colorful lizards right outside! I mean...

I'm really sad to write this review, because the Mahina Surf is a beautiful property in a beautiful location, with very nice management. That said, your experience here absolutely depends on which unit you get. We were booked into 105, but there was a mold smell so we asked to be changed to another unit. The management was very accommodating,...

Aloha! It was nice to see you again and understand your sensitivity issues. I have them myself. We had instructed housekeeping when getting #105 ready for you to not use any bleach products and only Simple Green. Upon moving to #202 (not #201) it appears the same sensitivity took place. I know you had a great experience on your prior...

We have just had 4 nights at Mahina Surf on our first trip to Hawaii. Our condo unit was spacious, clean, quiet, and fully self contained. The shower had really good pressure, and the King size bed was comfortable. The heated pool was very good to cool off in. We wish we could have stayed longer. If you want to...

We had an amazing trip to Maui, staying in unit #113 at Mahina Surf. This unit has THE BEST VIEW. Completely unobstructed view of ocean, palm trees, and pool, and the sun sets RIGHT in the middle! Beautiful large turtles are seen right in backyard. Unit is modernly updated, with an adorable Hawaiian design. Kitchen is well stocked with anything...

After over 40 years it is fair to say that I love the Mahina Surf and especially Unit 121 which is a one bedroom. ground floor unit, close to the pool and reasonably close to the parking. Mahina Surf has meticulously maintained grounds and though an older resort, it is frequesntly undated. The owners of 121 make improvements annnually and...

NO AIR CONDITONER in any unit. We stayed in unit 201. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. Beds were way to soft. The entire unit needs to be updated. The carpet was dirty. The kitchen table was a glass top--it was smeared--would not consider eating on it. There was a problem with sink in loft area. If...
