We stayed here with two couples and two children in January 2013 (this web page selection only goes back as far as 2014). We rented the whole house including three attached suites. We loved it! It's in the hills, away from the touristy beaches. You can see the ocean from the property way down in the bay below. What a...

This was a great place to stay as we love Makawao for its fun stores for clothing and art. It feels like a retreat complete with pool, hot tub, views and trees with lemons and maybe papaya. Marty and Helaina are responsive and helpful hosts- thank you for making our stay relaxing and special. We will definitely go back.Exceeded our...

Exceeded expectations. Nice and quiet! We walked into town but if you have mobility issues you will want to drive. Would definitely stay here again when we want a special...

If you come to Maui and never get upcountry you have really missed out! It is beautiful, very relaxed and moves at a much slower pace than the beach. Banyan B and B is not fancy but absolutlely perfect in every way that counts-clean, comfortable, ideally located and run by honest, helpful and friendly Marty. We will be back!

I slept better there than I do in my own bed. And although we did not come for the breakfast, It was an amazing & wonderful start to out day. Thank you :) You will get the highest...

Our first night in Maui was at the end of a very long day of travel and hiking in Haleakala so we did not get the chance to enjoy the Banyan Tree house's surrounds before heading off to Hana early the next day. The Hibiscus cottage was pleasant and just what we needed to prepare a simple meal, shower and...

If you want tranquility in an almost jungle like setting, then Banyan B&B Retreat is your place. We have stayed here twice now and have loved it both visits. Another reviewer described it as shabby chic, and I'd have to agree with this...rather old buildings but well preserved and so very comfortable. You get the feeling you've been transported back...

The Banyen Tree is always a treat. The owner Marty is a delight and always around to answer questions or help with your stay. Our room and beds were so comfy and had everything we needed. The view from the hot tub is outstanding and the grounds are so peaceful and pretty.

Great location, convenient to both the beach and Haleakala. Complete with a view of the ocean from the saline pool. Fresh bananas from the trees on the property. Clean, serene yoga studio stocked with props. Large kitchen and living room. Great location for a yoga retreat!!

We had an amazing time at Banyan. The location is beautiful and Marty, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We loved picking our own avocados, bananas and grape fruits from their garden. The room was nice and had everything we needed. I recommend staying there.
