We stopped in Paia and decided to stay for 2 days without previous booking and it was not so easy to find place to stay. Someone told us to try this place and fortunately, they have a vacancy. We got a ground room, and it was a bit dark and a bit small, but clean and in a way charming,...

We recently attended a Wedding at “HO’OKIPA PARK” and my niece suggested we stay at Nalu Kai Lodge. We can't say enough about how nice it was that we decided to chose the lodge. The location was so convenient to shops and just a few steps to the Paia Bay Coffee Shop shop that serves the the best breakfast ever....

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoy our time at the Lodge- it's right in the heart of the town and can get a bit noisy but that's overcome by its situation. Easy walking distance to the beach and next door to a brilliant place for coffee and breakfast.

Despite being located mere yards off the main drag in Paia, we found the lodge to be surprisingly quiet during our two night stay. Our room wasn't huge, but well-equipped with fridge, wi-fi, hairdryer and ceiling fan. The curtain arrangement for the bathroom is a little unusual, but makes good use of the available space. The self-service check in and...

2nd time staying here and love it! First, the matress is beautifully firm yet cozy! Next, hardwood floors and stone tiling - I abhor carpet in tropical environs so this is huge for me. Finally, such a great town, tons of amazing food, local entertainment, easy to get to Hana, the upcountry or to jot across the island for more...

Rooms very basic and clean. Biggest issue is can hear any conversation from next room clear as day, walls are paper thin. Not overly friendly staff. Paia has such limited options its OK choice, but don't have any expectations. Paia Inn almost next door is much nicer ...but expensive.

This place is cool. We had two different rooms. Both were tiny, but the great common areas make it so you aren't trapped in your room. The courtyard rooms are cooler and quieter. The lodge provided an electric kettle for morning tea and coffee and had a gas grill with rudimentary cooking equipment. Walking distance to everything in Paia. Parking...

I intend to only stay here. Very kick back, nothing fancy, extremely clean. So simple and comfy. I love sitting on the deck in the am to watch the sun rise. The price is one of the best value in the area.

My husband and I stayed here earlier this month and it was perfect for us. We are not resort people who need a daily maid so this was exactly what we were looking for. Clean comfortable affordable room with a fridge (little freezer inside for ice too!) We had the room with a/c. Maui was cooler than I expected so...

This was exactly as advertised, a lodge. This is a chill beach area, lots of surfer types, young vagabond travelers. This isn't a resort, or a high end hotel, it's a beach lodge. We loved it! Room was sized fine for two people. Large bed, mini fridge, small bathroom, perfect for what we wanted. Our room was right on the...
