Everything about this Hostel is amazing. I'm a pretty shy person and this hostel brought me right out of my shell. The staff are super super friendly and helpful and embody the Aloha spirit. The location is just 2 blocks from Paia Main Street and 4 blocks from the beach (where you can surf). This will be one of the... More

Just spent 3 nights here last week with my fiancee! Friendliest staff ever. They treat you like it's YOUR house. They keep the place spotless and are always checking in with the guests to make sure everyone is having a good time. Great hot tub, beautiful building, they run EVERY tour/activity you could want to do in Maui and you... More

We stayed here for 7 nights and the location was great. Paia is a really nice village but the rooms are really hot, no Air-Conditioning (but fan) and the bathrooms were unisex and not really clean during the day. I'm not sure how many rooms the hostel has, but they had only 3 bathrooms, so you usually had to wait/queue.... More

The Aloha Surf Hostel is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! It felt a bit like family. The facilities are good, the decoration is cool and there are a lot of really nice travelers. But the best are the free tours - perfect guide and routes. It's located in paia which is an lovely village.

This hostel had perfect location! It was right down the street from the beach, the small town, the location to catch a bus up to the mountain for a sunrise bike ride, and just basically close to everything! Although I didn't use it, the hostel had free trips every day all around the island. All of the staff were super... More

The staff here are incredible, super helpful and happy people. The hostel is constantly being cleaned and the private bathrooms were great.
